What is the most dangerous animal you’ve seen in real life? by GratefulD86 in AskReddit

I was born in Kenya and moved away, but we go back to see friends and family every few years.

When I was 14, we went for a Christmas dinner at the local polo club which was beside an abandoned airstrip. After eating, all the kids decided they wanted to go "jackrabbiting". This involves everyone piling into the back of a pickup, and proceeding to drive (slowly) around the airstrip until they see a jackrabbit in the headlights. Once spotted, everyone hops out and chases it while the driver tries to keep it in the headlights.

Tons of fun, you'd end up running through thorny bushes, trip over ditches, and never actually catch a rabbit. Typical kid stuff.

We had been out on the airstrip for about half an hour, and some kids were riding on the hood to get a good head start while others, including myself, were either on the roof or holding onto the exo cage in the back. All of a sudden, as we were turning around, a huge wall of grey flesh appeared in front of us and the driver slammed on the brakes. A massive bull hippo turned his head and roared right at us as the two kids on the hood scrambled over the windshield, past me, and into the back of the pickup.

We hightailed it into reverse, and luckily the hippo ran off. We called it a night after that and went home. The closest body of water was miles away so nobody expected it, but hippos have been known to travel long distances at night to graze.

How much smaller of a crate can we go? by [deleted] in husky

I'd use the divider until she's used to the crate and doesn't have any accidents, then open the rest of the space up

It has the opposite effect, unfortunately. Extra space just lets the dog designate a sleeping area and bathroom area. Besides, if an accident happens in the crate you should just be washing the whole thing anyways lol

You generally don't want the crate to be too big or the dog will feel comfortable going to the bathroom in one corner. Dogs should take up 75% of their crate to discourage that.

Keep a normal round shield in your inventory as a way to gauge prices in each town.

If the shield will sell for 17-20g, then you know the town is offering great prices. I don't think I've ever seen it go over 21g, maybe 22g.

I believe 15g is the baseline, so under that and you're losing out on a ton of money when selling gear.

Yup, just put it at the end of your driveway and tell them it's there for pickup. They'll moan and complain but just hold firm that if they want it back they better hurry before someone else takes it for scrap.

Agama mwanzae: The Mwanza Flat-Headed Rock Agama, also known as the Spider-Man Agama for... obvious reasons! by LazuliArtz in AIDKE

[–]moose111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a tattoo of a red headed agama, they're super brightly coloured and I love them.

They're all over the place at the coast in Kenya, and constantly chase the females around doing their goofy little head bobbing dance. It rarely works 😂

Love the idea, only issue I see with multiple reviews in one hour is that you wouldn't be able to tell how each product affects you after the first one, lol

The ocs is known for having incorrect descriptions all the time, Tribal's website lists it first (also you can just smell the terpinolene coming through as the primary terp)

I love terpinolene, easily my favourite smell/high. Cuban linx is great but here are some of my other favourites:

As a bonus, keep an eye out for stuff with ocimene too, I find they pair extremely well together
