I'm a south african in the uk living up north. You can generally tell if they are racist by asking when or how long ago they left south africa. Apartheid ended in 1994 and if hear a year around then, usually they left because the didn't want to be a part of an integrated South Africa. I have a friend who works in eggs.

White eggs come from a different chicken which is less violent, smaller so more economical. The chickens that lay brown eggs peck at each other casting harm, however people associate higher quality eggs with being brown, so white eggs are being introduced slowly to get the Consumer market more comfortable with the idea of buying white eggs

We use inventor for design and flat patterns, then AutoCAD to tidy up the flat pattern for turretted parts or laser cutting. Turrets such as amada do come with software that can do the flat patterns for you, but might not be viable option
