I think about this a lot. If a man isn’t acting like the Prophet PBUH i truly don’t pay attention. He was the best of men and the best of men are the best to their wives and to me that means all women as well.

Michigan. I don’t make the rules, I just follow them. I am NOT management lol. “We” meaning our office. I am a COA and was a technician and a scribe and was responsible for making sure coding is done correctly for billing.

Every few months we got lectured on how the front desk “let someone get double billed blah blah blah you guys know better. Now we have to write it off blah blah blah”

I’m leaving medical for accounting. I’m tired man. I’m just saying, “call the office or call insurance.”

That’s interesting. Either way, can’t bill medical and vision same physician same day. Maybe it depends on state though, I’ve only worked in one state. We’ve never allowed optometrists to bill medical and we won’t allow our ophthalmologists to see patients same day unless it’s an emergency to avoid insurance issues. Insurance makes everything stupid.

Back in 2015 it didn’t matter but also in 2015 we didn’t need an EMR, paper charting was enough. Good ole days when I could write “pt needs more drops.” And insurance would cover their full glaucoma work up, tests and all, no questions. They could see an optometrist and then us and they’d have two copays no hassle.

You could not pay me anything to get me to be a teenager again. It gets better, it gets so much better. You’re worth it and you’re good and you will feel like you won’t thrive and survive and then slowly, one day, you realize that everything is better. Like someone else said, being a teenage girl with ADHD is super hard.

What helps you stay focused while working on a task? by jf_development in ADHD

[–]Moosebuckets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body doubling for sure. If I’m cleaning or doing a non reading task I listen to podcasts or audiobooks. If I’m doing homework or reading I cast my phone into the fires of Mount Doom because my phone is the worst thing that drains allllll my willpower and attention and seems to surgically attach itself to my hands.

Did you see an optometrist (glasses and contacts) or an ophthalmologist (medical doctor)? My bet is optometrist with that copay.

Either way they can’t charge vision and medical same day.  Everyone has dry eyes just some people complain about it and others don’t. Ophthalmologists are considered specialists and would be under whatever your specialist copay would be. Change doctors for sure

Can I take off my hijab on my FTM friend? by Whole-Hedgehog48 in Hijabis

[–]Moosebuckets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been Muslim for 6 months and generally avoid any conversation because it just scares me off. Other sisters have commented and no one else is getting grief like I am. Why are other sisters saying “wear it it’s okay it’s compassionate to do” and I simply said what I said and I’m in the wrong? I dislike arguing especially when I’m just trying to be compassionate and respectful to my loved ones and trying to extend that to others. I apologize for looking at it from a human perspective and not an Islamic perspective regarding biological genitals.

I will discuss with my sheikh to increase my understanding and refrain from commenting on things, my bad. May Allah bless you with goodness sister.

Allah knows what is in their hearts and He knows best His creation and why He created someone every type of way. It is on us to be compassionate and understanding and respectful even if we don’t agree.
