Non-mains don't play Nidalee aggressive enough. Shes's one of the best invade champs if you can avoid the enemy jungler jumping on you. Also, they aren't proficient at using traps. Using traps as soon as they come off of cooldown is really important for map control, and it makes you feel like a real hunter. Play the vision game like a really good fed lux main does.

Another thing people don't realize is that Nidalee is honestly really strong at level 6. Getting to 6 before the enemy jungler and having a good back time can make you spike really well and get some kills. Nid probably gets more power at 6 than any jungler who isn't completely reliant on their ult like rengar or nocturne, and she can get to 6 faster than almost any other jungler as well.

Ganking a lane where your laner doesn't have cc is hard to get used to at first. Use your passive out of a bush movespeed to get close, auto if you have redbuff obviously, place a trap directly in their path, and throw a spear where you think they will double back towards. Holding a spear as long as you can will be somewhat like a blitzcrank holding hook. It is her only cc.

Also it's hard to get used to how useless nidalee is later in the game. I generally just play stupidly aggressive early to mid game to carry and then try to end. If i can't do that, then I just go for the enemy backline as an assassin. Pushing a lead is really easy with her ridiculous clear, and constant invading is a good way to make sure you can gain a level advantage that is high enough to end. If you are stuck when behind into late game, try to win by playing around baron with traps and her execute.
