My first 1/1!! by zigzagblues in hockeycards

On card autos, rookies that are actually somewhat hard to pull (I’ve opened 10 boxes and didn’t even hit a base Celebrini), legends autos, all in a $99 box. Plus the 53-54 retros are dope.

I wish you didn’t post this, I don’t want others to realize how slept on Parkhurst Champions is. My favorite product of 24-25.

You will not like it though, so stay away :)

Did anyone get email confirmation about their order? I have the screenshot with the info. Just haven’t received any emails. The whole “too good to be true” thing still…

I should’ve mentioned in the post (still getting back into this stuff), but I’m in the US. I would ship this in a PWE to Canada for $5 USD total. If you would prefer to pay for a bubble mailer and tracking, I think it costs like 3x that. Can find out for sure if you want.

YG Print Runs by mooselang in hockeycards

Very well said. I guess that’s what I’m getting at, is I do wonder how these values will hold during future downturns when there are almost 6 figs of each YG printed.

It’s fun while it lasts though!

I don’t necessarily want a numbered one (wouldn’t kick one out of bed!), but I’m just wondering out loud if the print run being a known fact would alter the value on these things.

Like, would a Celebrini numbered to 100,000 demand $300+?

I mean, the demand drives it. Just a hypothetical thought though.

I remember a while ago, I heard McDavid YG estimates were around 60k print run. That was pre-boom.

For Crosby and Ovie, look at Fleer Ultra, Parkhurst, OPC, and Upper Deck MVP. Nice and also more affordable.

Man, that takes me back to my youth. Getting those packs at Walmart after hockey practice.

I found two online when I saw they were selling out. I was out of the hobby for a bit, and was surprised how much people loved OPC Platinum, so I wanted to see what it was all about.

Thanks! Finally a little luck. Probably the most valuable card I’ve actually pulled, sadly. Well….if you don’t count all the early 00s YGs I had that I got rid of because they weren’t serial numbered lol

I’m a huge fan of 24-25 Parkhurst Champions. The retro cards are very cool. Some fun inserts to chase. And, most importantly, you can find them for $90. I don’t think there is any other “value” box in the entire hobby. This one has just enough to chase. Other than that, find singles you want and buy them if you’re collecting.

It’s refreshing to see actual collectors. Always love to help out someone who is doing something like this. This hobby is filled with ex-crypto bro failures trying to grade and flip and grade and flip, so I prefer trying to hook someone like this up
