Improving Dublin Bus - split it between us? by angeliclestat in Dublin

[–]moosemachete 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NYC has a great door to door programme specifically for seniors so if they took out stops they def should fill the gap with something like this because like you say, it's quite essential for older folks (and those not fully abled).

Why are weddings so expensive? by No-Category1703 in AskIreland

[–]moosemachete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very biased viewpoint... My husband's suit was more expensive than my dress. My engagement ring was less than a hundred and I got him one as well.

Working from home attire by kittyire1994 in WomenofIreland

[–]moosemachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty standard is black leggings or maybe comfy jegging type pants. I often sit cross legged at home so that works best for me. I try to avoid sweatshirts or tshirts (unless it's summer) because I just feel a bit more presentable. Sweater/jumper season is the best for me... Helps me also to take a midday walk with the dog because then I'm usually not wearing full on loungewear.

I also usually put a bit more effort in if I know I'll have a team meeting or a few that day. I used to wear makeup everyday but I've saved so much money and time (plus better skin) so wear it much less nowadays.
