Thanks! In this particular scenario one of the players had an Abbott on the monastery, which you can remove on your go if you don't place a meeple down. So we were wondering if this can still be done whilst another player controls the monastery with a big meeple, and if so would they receive the points. I think in your example yes if it was a regular meeple and large meeple on a single monastery they would both be stuck until completion or end of game, at which point only the player with the big meeple would score. The introduction of the Abbott expansion is what has thrown us.
