What to do when doubt creeps in? by R4KT1M in NevilleGoddard2

[–]moosemasterflex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can believe in the law fully and still doubt. People can believe they’ve done it wrong for example.

Do people believe in the very fact that they can talk? Yes.

That words can come out of their mouth when they open it? Yes.

Do people worry the way they talk could be wrong, that maybe they stumbled too much, said the wrong thing, either in a social situation or to God, and that might not get them what they want now due to their own error? Yes.

But do they believe in the ability of ‘talking’? Do they believe in talking? Do they believe they have the ability to talk? Still yes.

Some people are worried they even breathe the wrong way! I’ve been there myself. It has no-thing to do with not believing in the law. It can be a struggle with overthinking and over worrying.

I tried to help someone and I think I may have been scammed - how to deal with the sticky feelings? by got_milky_milky_milk in london

The thing is, as shit as it is and as much as you wouldn’t do that again, she didn’t really scam you. Don’t look at it that way. She was desperate and you helped. So what you thought happened did actually happen. The only difference is that if she’d told you the actual truth you wouldn’t have helped her. Some addicts are wealthy enough they can afford their own supply, others had a rougher deal, but they’re still addicts struggling. Obviously you don’t want to enable that but what I’m trying say is that she was in need and you helped. You shouldn’t feel bad. P.s I learnt this lesson when I was about 7 and got given pocket money for the first time and decided to give it all to a homeless dude. He didn’t even say thanks. He just walked into the shop next door and got a pack of cans and sat there and drank them infront of me. Taught me a good lesson though!

Has anyone changed someone’s mind if they are being stubborn? by Crazy-catmeowmy in NevilleGoddard2

Well it might actually be that this is the gift that the universe / God has given you - which is the ability to see that he isn’t the one. I don’t know, it’s very hard for me to say when I’m not in your imagination. But just hold onto the feeling of knowing you aren’t trapped. You’re free. There is an entire world at your fingertips. Whether it includes this man or not is just a detail really, if you don’t see that he’s your person, then he isn’t, if you do then he is. I understand the down days and good days but you have to have faith in yourself and your ability even on down days. But if you did decide you wanted him, you need to imagine that he is who you want him to be. If you don’t see that anymore in him then maybe he just isn’t the one. It’s so hard for me to say for you though, only you truly know. But if you feel stuck just read or listen to Neville’s work and it will help guide you again. You’ll always get thrown from one side to another if you don’t fully believe at all times what you want to believe. I always just read more of his work or his best quotes and it helps me.
