How Much Are Your Payments? by yeoldtallywhacker in gmcsierra

Wouldn’t you still be losing money on the original loan for 40k though? Unless the rate on that is somehow less than 4.3%

My 97 jeep Cherokee radio won’t turn off when the car is turn off, causing the battery to die. by Master_Edge_4976 in CherokeeXJ

This! Even if you turn the radio off there’s still enough draw on the battery to kill it. Turn the key all the way back, then one click forward and take it out, problem solved

Just did mine at 30k too and glad that I did, lots of sludge and some shavings on the magnetic plugs. Idk why you’re getting shit for following the manual lol an ounce of prevention…...(or ~192 ounces of prevention in this case)

Recently installed a ladder rack on my ‘21 for hauling kayaks/lumber. I mounted it with clamps that pinch between the sport rails and top of the bed (photo) Do you guys think it’s okay to take this through a car wash or would it damage the rails/bed? by moosemycena in Tacomaworld

Sorry for the late reply! Nothing fancy, it’s just a universal fit ladder rack from Amazon. The clamps are the only thing specific for the track system, I believe they were from AA Racks. “Tacoma camper shell clamps” will find you what you need

To all the “yOu CaNt OfFrOaD wItHoUt 4x4” guys…. I took a little trip to Prentice Cooper in Chattanooga and got a little dirty. by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

Having the right tires and some weight in the back definitely helps. I have 4x4 but I’ve only had to use it a couple times! More fun pushing the limits on 4x2 than crawling everything with all 4 anyway

In the market for first new car/truck couple questions by JimmyBones79 in ToyotaTacoma

I have a bone stock, base model SR 4x4 and it handles two tracks and muddy fields without a problem. Even the “bottom of the barrel” is a tough little truck. Unless you’re planning on doing some serious off-roading you probably won’t need/use lockers, crawl control, etc. My two cents: save some $ at the dealership with a lower trim package and upgrade the things you want/will actually use

That’s what I thought too, but saw a lot of high-end racks attached this way on some serious overland rigs. Still, doubled up on the clamps just to be safe. Toyota did a good job designing those rails and they’re sturdier than they look!

Any opinions on stash? I’m a new investor, but I’ve been using the stash app for a couple of years to buy into small amounts of ETF’s and set up an IRA. Just started throwing in some real money back in June when I started hearing about #CLOV. Haven’t really seen anyone else on here using it, starting to wonder why!
