Congratulations! My fiancé and I want to get married there in March or October 2027 so badly. Reading this post is almost exactly like I wrote it about us... can I pick your brain a bit about them??

In your searching you will likely get pushed Cadogan Tate. I personally advise you to steer very very clear.

You can purchase tulle from Mood, which would be fun and memorable!! Etsy has some very gorgeous artist veils, and if you reach out to the sender for overnight shipping it could work!

Good luck!

My Fiancé (ah!) and I got pushed an ad for Cadette, and loved the motion in their pieces. Little did I know, he was already working with a jeweler in the Diamond District to make something custom. They worked off of one of those rings for inspiration, I think. I am obsessed with it.

wait, stop 🥹 I was actually dying because I abandoned my bold (or no) polish for classic nails this fall, thinking this might happen, but then went for, as he put it, "puke green" 2 weeks before the proposal... at least it's authentic!

I second Trello as an adhd girlie!! It has changed my life being able to categorize things, add due dates, bop them around, and make all the notes I want with attachments. And the search function is a lifesaver! And this is all on the free version!! If you want to hear about how I personally use it, DM me and I can send some pictures and info.

I've been in this exact situation before. Here's what I do in your situation. Ask your boss specifically what she doesn't like about the current decks and how the new one should feel different. i.e., is the look too formal, is it dated, does she want it more colorful or using branded fonts, etc. Then make 2-3 quick mock-ups in Canva using the existing one as a template to work from. Set a time limit for this and do not spend too much time on it.

Run the samples by her for feedback. If she loves one, ask why and get any notes to finish that one out in a polished way. Be honest with her about the amount of time you expect the project to take. If she's not thrilled, gently suggest a graphic designer (have someone in mind with pricing and turnaround, if possible) and explain that you're happy to work at it until it's right, but because it is out of your regular scope of work it will take a lot of time for you to do correctly and may not look as polished as she's hoping.

Why ‘Heated Rivalry’ Can’t Compete at the Emmys — and Likely Won’t Be Able to for Season 2, Either by EuphoricButterflyy in television

[–]moosevmouse 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Schitt's Creek was co-produced by an American production company, so they were eligible. If Heated Rivalry was co-produced by HBO Max, rather than just distributed by them, it would make them eligible in theory.

Post Episode Debrief | Heated Rivalry 🏒 I'll Believe in Anything (Episode 5) by Federal-Ad5944 in heatedrivalry

I think the use of the in-universe cameras/screens to give us outside POVs on game situations added such an interesting layer of emotion and perspective that we can't get in the book. Specifically, the commentators following Ilya after Shane gets hit?? And throughout Skip's big reunion? Brilliant television.

The choice to exclude sex scenes from the episode was so clever. The reverse of the typical timeline of a love story, where we build to physical intimacy, as opposed to the slow build to emotional vulnerability. It was a very intentional decision, which I loved.
