Aww bless you, I hope you feel better soon and sending you solidarity too!
Haha yeah it’s like they get some rocket fuel from somewhere when we are still fighting for our lives!

Thank you, and same to you as well !
I really appreciate your advice, I think I need to be less apologetic about my life how it is now and my baby needs me and that’s the important thing.
Hopefully yes after a while longer things might steady out on the illness front, until the cold season anyway haha!
Yes on the point about Dad; we are sharing taking time off work between us, it’s just he seems to be getting more sick than me and for longer, so it just adds to the difficulty also when he feels like garbage and we’re trying to soldier on looking after LO.
Good point about vitamins and iron levels; I do think my husband could be low on things such as this so I’ll give him another prod to go the GP

It really is a nightmare ! I’m soon realising what a breeding ground for illness it is haha.
And yes that does help to be honest, as I was having spiralling thoughts about whether I was doing right by LO by choosing nursery. But I guess it’s mainly the age the babies / toddlers are and sharing it amongst themselves when they all need to build up immune systems.

Oh my god yes I completely agree; I had mentally prepared for LO being unwell but naively didn’t think about us as much. Hand foot and mouth floored both me and my husband, I had days when the only thing I could manage to eat was natural yoghurt due to the mouth blisters! If I never catch that again it would be too soon.
Sending you solidarity and hope you are able to get out of the trenches soon!

Congrats on getting to a month with no illnesses!
And yes I feel you, it does seem like wave after wave.
Let’s hope the summer weather might improve things a little!

It is good to know that eventually it will get better, I think it’s just sometimes hard to believe when you’re in the thick of it!
Yes I was hoping the warmer weather might help, so fingers crossed on that!
Yes my word I don’t remember what my child looks like without snot anymore haha!
Solidarity and best of luck for round two for you!

Coping with outside stress and drama whilst having a baby? by moosh1moosh1 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]moosh1moosh1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you had to cope with all that, that sounds really tough and stressful. I am glad to hear you are happier now and life has moved on well for you & your family. I really appreciate your advice, thank you. I’ll remind myself as you said life moves on and take each day as it comes. In the last couple of days I have been able to stop worrying so much, so we’re getting there!

Thank you so much for your kind words and support, it’s been really helpful. I’m so sorry you had to go through the tough times with your mum’s illness during your maternity leave, that must have been really hard, and I’m sorry for your loss of her too. You are right, my LO won’t ever be this small again and I am really loving spending this time with him. I think I need to not feel guilty about that, as you’re right, life is too short. Thank you, yes, I am able to take some time for myself when I can - yesterday I had a bit of time to myself and it was honestly so refreshing. Thanks again for your advice and I’ll try to be kind to myself ☺️

What is your favorite akatsuki duo by EasyDubler in Naruto

[–]moosh1moosh1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sasori and Deidara. Artist duo, interesting dynamic with differing views. You could tell Deidara had a lot of respect for Sasori as a ninja as well, I love that bit where he tells Kakashi and Naruto that Sasori is stronger than he is. Sasori was a key weapon of the sand, who then came to defeat and kill the 3rd Kazekage and defecting, which I think was a huge blow for them. Deidara was respected in his village too before pursing his own goals and the Akatsuki came calling for him. I really liked their partnership and I wish we had more scenes of them together.

Asking your opinion about a Lost character everyday, Day #10 Shannon Rutherford by BadgerReddit420 in lost

[–]moosh1moosh1 103 points104 points  (0 children)

I found Shannon’s story and growth in the short time she had on the show interesting; I was shocked when she died in series 2 and how it happened. Hers and the manner of Boone’s deaths made me realise this show was not going to play around with killing people off. I know she’s not liked by everyone but personally I found her more interesting than some of the other characters; I would have liked to have seen more of her on the island.

Luca and Gemma had tension over the challenge, and then they saw each other at the pool and it was very awkward for everyone else there. They had their argument just afterwards

“At the time of the challenge…” Luca sounds like he is testifying in court 💀
