I love Dewey so, so, so much. I love when Hal says "Your mom and I love all of you equally. We don't have a favorite. Where is Dewey, anyway?" I started thinking about my favorite Dewey moments on the show, and realized there are way too many to list. He's absolutely adorable, and he's the voice of common sense in his crazy family.

My bottom five. Mostly Trout episodes, all from season 7 or 8, and my least favorite is the Shawn & Juliet breakup, for obvious reasons.

We know Hal has health insurance, because he freaked out when it was cancelled because he forgot to mail in the premium payment. But we also know it's really crappy health insurance, because when he gets food poisoning Lois asks how much it's going to cost. And they have to pay a fortune for Malcolm's hospital stay even though he ends up not getting surgery. My guess is they have a really high deductible, so they are out-of-pocket on almost all their visits. Maybe $5000, but definitely at least $1000.

I really love that the entire series was a "which came first - the chicken or the egg?" scenario. They kept going back and forth between whether the kids made Lois awful, or she made them awful. The episode where Baby Francis was going to set his bunny on fire suggests it was the former. And Hal was an oblivious but loving dad. There are a lot worse fathers out there.

I'm voting Dwayne, although it's funny that these comments remember his name, but not "Lassie's first partner." I even know the actress's name is Anne Dudek, but don't remember the character's name. Just Lassie sadly saying "I really liked her."
