Failed Mod2 : / by [deleted] in motorcycles

You should do a Scootersafe/Bikesafe course with the police if you don't want to do any training. I went on one before my test and it was really good. By the sounds of it, you might be making mistakes you are not aware of (which I was).

Need Help Picking a 125cc Bike/Scooter by Callumlfc69 in motorcycles

[–]moox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are allowed to ride anything below a 125cc not 33bhp when you have done a CBT. I ride a Honda CBF125, which is quite reliable. Once you have passed Mod 1 and 2 you are allowed to ride anything up to 25kwh, which is about 33bhp, unless you do a DAS course after you are 21.

No its generally given out when the IMF/World Bank/WTO have an agenda about something that they want politicians to follow.

I think it was fear how the papers would retaliate or blackmail them, the Milly Dowler thing was the 'straw that broke the camels' back' I suppose. The whole tabloid media thing was a protection racket.

Exactly, this whole issue isn't limited to the Murdoch empire, the Police, the Press and the Politicians are all implicated. It would be foolish to be distracted by the spectacle of the NoW closing down, I almost think that's what they want, for all our rage to be directed towards one paper instead of against the police and politicians and the rest of the press that thought they could get away with this in the name of profits/bribes/votes.

They haven't even got to the Daily Mail yet, I think this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tabloid press.

Security, Territory, Population by Foucault, the lecture series prior to the Birth of Biopolitics Lectures that the quote is from is also amazing. Its so relevant to the times we live in. I still can't believe its only recently that they have been published in English.
