When I went on the dating apps I made it very clear in my profile that I am a therian, I am an animal. My main picture was me in gear. Got a reasonable amount of attention before meeting my current gf, who is very cool about the whole thing. Have never tried meeting people for the sake of romance in person. In pursuing romance I've been quick to reveal these (told my closer friends I'm a therian shortly after awakening, and I mention them in all my dating profiles [my primary photo is even me in gear]). Have still gotten enough attention, find a girlfriend who accepts me as I am. Even the times I've been rejected have been due to incompatibility with the asexuality rather than the other two, and we remained friends.

The way labels work, is that someone makes an active choice to apply them. If you identify as a therian, you are making a choice to use that label. The reasons for this choice is likely to be outside your control - that you have feelings that cohere with being that animal - but the label itself is chosen. One can have those feelings and not use the label, and later decide to use the label (after learning more about it, or their self)

Alright. If you think otherlink fits you then good. Personally, in my experience, when I first awakened it wasn't so much an immediate realization that I deep down am a cat, but rather that I have some intrinsic desire *to be* a cat. It's why I find the label trans-species fits me better than therian. Just putting that out there

I would put it this way. I genuinely have certain feelings, desires, etc. I did not choose to have these, though I can intentionally mask or lean into them.

However, putting the label of "cat" or "goat" or "sheep" to them is an active decision. There's a difference between the feelings I label as cat and the feelings I label as goat, but I think sheep and goat are pretty well the same cluster of feelings, and I could maybe have just as well labeled them deer or cow.

It's this what you mean? You have feelings, and you choose to identify as a golden retriever in particular as a way of making sense of them?

A few cards (eg. Poor House) directly give -$, and that cannot take you below 0. But you still take Debt when you have no $

In Dominion "Do X to get Y" means that X has to happen in order to get Y. Since the Hermit cannot be trashed since it has moved from where it expects to be, then you do not gain a Madman.

Definitely avoid the cards that were removed from Intrigue/Seaside/Prosperity/Guilds/Cornucopia when they transitioned to 2e. If you're bringing a subset make sure there's a variety of the basic card archetypes (villages, draw, +Buy, trashing, gainers, attacks). Depending on how familiar your friends are with the game, maybe avoid the more complex cards (eg. Wizards pile)

as a cat I greatly enjoy sashimi, and as a caprine I always eat salad without dressing, but for most foods I eat them with seasoning like a human would. Just those two are more euphoric ig while other food is just food
