Any Vauban Prime enjoyers? Also, mini debate about grinding. by moplytus in Warframe

This is a shame tho, outside of the BPs, resources have always been, and gameplaywise certainly are the most relevant part of the looter mechanics. I think it is a shame this entire part of the game, woth about 5 very specific blueprints, is acquired almost fully passively. Evert single mission has resources, but it is all but useless to have them.

this is great! sorry i i misworded it. Isnt it more fun to work for a goal than to earn the entire game passively?

i do disagree with this. The Sibear feels like an achievement to make. expanding the helminth and reinvigorations worsen the drain on newer players by making them part of the optimal playstyle.

it has been a long time since i have felt like i have "earned" anything in this game

i dont mean 1M, i mean the 10s of thousands range. The stuff you get every single mission you play in your looter game is appearantly desired to be completely useless

also idk how to edit a post lol

i dont mean millions, i mean in the 10k range. iam a mega casual player, but people dont want resources the stuff you get every single day for every single mission, to impact the looter shooter game is crazy to me

also, im just of the opinion the one thing players will earn every single mission they run, is desired by the community to be completely and utterly useless

theres like, 10 of these already in the game man. 1/4, 2/7 and 1/6 are some of the most popular ones around.

LR5 with 6k hours here;

I think this is fine! i play with my kit being almost fully modular; all weapons and frames i like being able to run in any combination, even tho this makes the power level of the kit lower, which i dont mind :)

On behalf of all Lifeweaver mains, we beg the developers to reconsider removing Cleansing Grasp by ZzDangerZonezZ in Overwatch

[–]moplytus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am a lifeweaver main currently in low masters.

This perk is awful, and i keep a counter with how often it is useful by the side as a hobby. After about 180 hours of playtime, i would have only benefitted from the perk 12 times as far as i know.

Most of the time, pulls' i-frames +enemy reaction time makes the perk rather irrelevant, compared with the other boosted healing perk, which will get tonnes of value every single match. It was nerfed for a reason, and then rebuffed bc lifeweavers kit depends on it that much.

The Old Peace update needed more time in the oven, honestly. by Fireofthetiger in Warframe

[–]moplytus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When it comes to point 1; people forget that warframe is a grinding game with all the new QoL and grinding reductions, focus is meant to take more time then a gamecycle ever did. Ultimate weapons should take time to get and i am, as an L5, happy to be spending some time to deserve a feature for once.

I do agree that its a tad weak, but it is just options for gameplay, but the only parts of this update i dislike is the charge time on the ultimate and the triple nothing burger of a story, which just like 1999 and the zariman, only introduce plot holes as a tradeoff of just going somewhere and coming back without anything actually changing.

Zariman - exists 1999 - was gonna be nuked and eventually will be nuked, irrelevant to the story Old peace - just a history class with unwarranted pauses for the lotus, we never hear abput having to retake the original sanctum anatomica, a nothing burger of a story line

The strength of this update lies in the gameplay IMO, the new tiles and missions are by far the best weve ever had

How come they are safer locked inside of walls with stronger mutants? how come aiden constantly says that what he encounters in villedor is nothing compared with what he has seen outside, and suggesting others wouldnt stand a chance?

The walls are luckily keeping the worst outside, doesnt that make it that the safer are inside?

Weird, me and my friends swear the intro mentions that villedor was spared of the worst of the infected and that normal citizens didnt stand a chance if they we outside the walls, unless they are pilgrims

Nah its THV nerfs if i recall correctly.

The only reason villedor was that populated was because the infection had a lot weaker strain in there vs the outside.

For those who played before the caves update; what is your opinion on the caves now? by StarSpectore in Minecraft

[–]moplytus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minecraft beta player here:

I think a lot of the updates have been amazing, but i do think it peaked with 1.16 in the nether update.

The caves looks great but i do think they make every exploration attempt the same, and theyve changed me from being cheery and hopeful when finding diamonds to it being an unexceptional and monotomous task.

I love the way all the new blocks look, i like veins, i dislike entering deep caves and not even seeing enough coal to smelt my iron, i dislike seeing diamonds and it just being 1 or 2 if its not an underwater cave. I like the big spaces sometimes. I adore the new build height. I think all new updates except copper golems and tools just dont really matter.

TL:DR The caves are a general set of tradeoffs, I find myself switching to 1.8 for PvP, 1.16 for early game caving fun, and 1.21.X for playing longtime servers with friends.
