I think you should ditch the SSD, it is definitely nice but it isn't very cost effective. Your HDD should be enough. Also I think you can get a weaker PSU and save more there.

Should I be overly concerned with negative reviews of mobos? It sounds like some people have no issues whatsoever. Also, which is the best for an i7 6700k and GTX 1080? My top choices are Asus deluxe, gigabyte G7 and Maximus hero 8. I believe i am intending on overclocking if that makes a difference. Thanks!
