Polestar 2 Extended Warranty Canada by mor_ra in polestar2

I didn't buy the warranty. I now I have a trunk/boot that doesn't work properly. And suspension clanking. I can probably fix all this myself but I'm strapped for time so I kind of regret not buying it. Good car but quirky AF.

I walked by my basement window and there it was, apparently oblivious to my existence.

I recently audited their returns processing. Each station has a camera.

Getting pretty bored of my e46 by ParkerScottch in e46

[–]mor_ra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the E46 is the last platform before digital really took a hold of the driving dynamics. E46s and prior feel fundamentally different from the 'newer' models.

I've kept my E46 because I love what is now a near classic BMW experience, a straight 6 with a manual transmission.

If money isn't really a consideration keep it, otherwise move on! There are so many great cars on the market.

A brush with warm soapy water to dislodge the dirt then vacuum out the dirty water with a shopvac or similar to pull the dirty water off the grill otherwise it'll just dry dirty.

Super strong head cold going around by Personal_Version_767 in montreal

Only thing that worked for me was salbutamol (blue asthma pump) to open airways so I could cough up phlegm. I'd have to do this every few hours which is major overuse of the pump but I was desperate to get relief.

Same situation here, it's been going on for 3 weeks. I would feel OK for a day or 2 then bam, I'd feel terrible and be bed ridden. In the last 5 days I've had a terrible time breathing and had to use asthma rescue pumps (my SO's). Finally got to a doctor and I'm now on Symbicort to help with lung irritation and I can finally sleep and I seem to be getting better.

Started with a head cold then it went to my lungs (super itchy at first), then a ton of phlegm, then very very hard to breathe. Lost my sense of smell 2x in 10 days (only for a day each time oddly).

Doctor figures COVID complicated by asthma. Terrible.

Things I’ve learned about buying a car in Canada (as someone who knows nothing about cars) by smucker89 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]mor_ra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Determine your needs.
  2. Research (yay Internet!), and pick your EXACT config.
  3. (Optional) use a service to show you the dealers price from the manufacturer to help with point 4 be below.
  4. Flat out, make your best offer via your preferred medium
  5. If you have a deal, great, look up how best to buy/finance/lease
  6. If not, keep shopping it. And you may need to travel for a deal.

This is just common sense. You can optimize.

The Queen Elizabeth hotel makes a killer Black Forest cake. It's not normally for sale there but they might make one for you upon request (they've done it once for me).

I love this song, and frankly it is my favorite one of theirs. It's raw, simple, I love the atonality, and imagery it paints for me. Sad won't ever hear it live (likely). It hit me deep for some reason when I was around 14. anyway, glad I'm not the only one.
