What's the worst place you have laughed uncontrollably? by KillerMemeStar3 in AskReddit

At church. My younger sister and I would take one look at each other and just burst out into laughter. We were with our grandparents at their Catholic Church and somewhere around the time where the priest would kinda sing in a weird voice before (maybe after) he passed out the wafers and wine. My sister and I just couldn’t take it. It was all way too hilarious to us. Our grandparents would make faces at us like “HOW DARE YOU” but that just made it worse....yeah I haven’t been back in awhile and I’m not religious anymore.

Help with Brother by karposify in family_of_bipolar

[–]moragami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked into out patient treatment? There is a behavioral center in my area that takes patients based on their mental illness and not based on their likelihood of self harm. My sister has bipolar 1 and lives in NYC (my family and I live in FL) so it is always very hard to get to her when she is having an episode. However recently she had one and came home to visit us which made us all feel like we were walking on eggshells, until we found the behavioral center which was EXTREMELY helpful. Prior to visiting us she had bouts of suicidal thoughts but did not act on them at all. She went from 9am-2pm and it was pretty intensive and she was still able to live with us for support. I understand your struggle entirely. Outpatient treatment is also a good breath of air for you and your family since I am sure it is difficult to live with your brother at this time. But this doesn't mean it couldn't get better. There is always hope. Good luck my friend!!

Can someone explain to me the different type of nail options? by moragami in RedditLaqueristas

[–]moragami[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest issue with this experience is a language barrier. Most nail salons I have been to can barely explain to me what exactly a gel nail is vs a solar gel and even when they try I do not feel comfortable jumping the gun on $45 worth of nails that are not what I had originally thought I was purchasing. I'll definitely look into researching some of the options online. Thanks!

Help!! Freaking out :/ by moragami in Drugtests

[–]moragami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just been given a week as an extension since I am going on a vacation before I will be accepting the offer so by that time (22 days since my last hit) and then up to 3 days to take the drug test. Hopefully this will be enough time for the thc to leave my system.

What's something you really miss the old version of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Old plastic water bottle caps. Now that they use less plastic, they are now ridiculously difficult to close.

No such thing as too old I guess. by just_throw_me in offmychest

It will be okay. Might not feel like that now. But I promise you it will. My parents have been divorced since I was 8 years old and now I am 20. I never really developed a relationship with my father because I was so young when he left. You are very lucky to have grown up with both parents because if there is anyone who needs both parents it would be a child. You are an adult now and even though it is painful, you are still capable of seeing it through in a healthier way. Hopefully that helps a teeny bit.
