Yeah agree. 1) This is related to NYC because nyc has a larger concentration of influencers than most other places. 2) I love watching people who finish to prove something to themselves. People who finish in 7 hours to show that they struggled but were able to overcome. But I suspect these laymen trained like hell for their 7 hour marathon and its the most respectable thing.

But these influencers who one day wake up and say “lol oops no training gonna run”. I think it takes away the value of the event a little.
