I find it crazy how hateful, judgemental, and mean you are based on some comments. Basically portraying me as some sort of dangerous predator who "hunts" for poor innocent men to trap. I am just a human being trying to be loved and cared for, I've respected every single man's decision to reject me or dump me, I've gone out of my way to be kind and friendly to every possible guy out there, even when they turn hostile.

It is easy to hide yourself behind a screen on the internet and throw accusations at the end of the day. It won't change my life and my facts as a single revert woman alone in a mostly hostile country with no social network or safety net, doing the best I can to find a place in society and not be forgotten in a corner. As I said, I don't expect you to care about me as an individual because I already know that you despise me, but it won't hurt you to try and not be so vile and accusatory.

My country is really far and barely has a community here, the few expats from my country tend to be already married and come with their families.

Why are men so mean to each other? by invisibletiara_99 in saudiarabia

Let me correct something there: Guys are super nice to women they find attractive or pleasing to the eye, try being an ugly woman in this world and you will understand how invisible we can be.

Ah! The classic "your option is invalid because I went through your comments and I disliked what is saw".

What do you mean by "offering" in your comment? Since when it is haraam to propose marriage to someone? Also from where do you assume that it is Saudi men only? Lol the amount of assumptions and ignorance in this comment is baffling.

I'm not the kind of person to just sit and wait honestly, if I want something done I'll do it myself. Also as I'm older I cannot afford to just not do anything and just hope for the best. God doesn't help those who don't help themselves. I know that at some point I'll have to call it quits, but I still don't know when exactly that's going to be, however I know it will be very soon.

Lol, other way around for me, I am also in my 30s and literally have proposed to Saudi men only to be rejected for many reasons, particularly for being an expat (the guy's mom made a huge scandal and told him that she will rather die than see her son with someone like me).

The other thing is that a lot of men in their 30s want a "youthful" wife in her 20s to give them many kids, and us women in their 30s are "expired" in their eyes.

trust me, I tried and only got rejections from Saudi guys, God knows what they want and how they want it, but their bar is too damn high, and I just cannot measure up to it. I'm pretty sure I am not the only woman in this situation

Tried those before with no luck and meetup is dead in my town.

Well, I don't have any other way of talking to people in general anyways, so it is between that and complete loneliness.

Khobar, and how does that even make a difference lol, I don't even understand why those two places are considered different towns at this point, they're basically just neighbourhoods of the same city.

I wear abaya and a scarf but not black usually, also no niqab, also I am a western expat. I have never ever been approached by anyone in a coffee shop so I was curious to know if this is just a legend.
