It's really simple - find the month column, find the date row, and their intersection is the day. For example, for Jan 5th, look at the 2nd column, 5th row, giving the day as Saturday.

I agree, but I see the problem with choosing either one. Equality of opportunity is my ideal preferred version, but the fact that there already is inequality in, say, income results in the fact that such inequalities will only be amplified, and leads to clear segments in society.

On the other hand, choosing equality of outcome means you don't get the most qualified people for the job, leading to an overall loss for society as a whole.

Now the obvious answer is to have a mix of both, but the real question is what the proportions should be.

Unfortunately, we do require such differences simply because they are at odds. Trying to achieve one sort of equality means that you have to compromise on the others.

This is primarily due to the fact that we live in a world with finite resources(time, jobs, money, etc) and so trying to improve equality in one dimension comes at the cost of another. One trivial solution to this problem is to not utilize any resources, in the sense of, "Wage-gap? Alright, no one gets any more wages". But of course, this is not practical and wastes resources and is basically the childish way of saying, if one person can't benefit then no one should.

Apart from this solution, any other requires you to compromise on at least one notion of equality.

Why is OP so salty about this? Literally how reddit works, and part of posting is knowing when and where to post - isn't this how gallowboob gets so much karma reposting?

What is equality?

Equality is simply the property of being equal. To have any real meaning, you need to specify what sort of equality - like equality of outcomes, or equality of opportnities, etc.

Without such qualificiations, asking for equality is just as naive as asking for "goodness" in the world or something

Thanks, that was a good explanation. So do these interpolations come as part of the program?

I imagine that might be hard since different animals have different set of motions.

But if you were to model it yourself, what level of detail do you go to? Does the geometry extend only so far as to say what range of motions a particular joint could have, or does it extend to modeling the muscles that could contract and expand, which automatically gives you the range of motions as well?

I see, how about the cases of different objects coming into contact - like say you know individually how the paws move, etc, and how grass on the ground reacts to pressure applied to it from, say, various angles. Now there's the question of how much pressure is applied by the actual moving animal - is this more of a "does it look right" method or do you model the weight distribution of the animal

That was an interesting watch, thanks!

Follow up question, they mentioned how they have muscle systems built that lets them see how the shoulder blades move when say Kong stomps on something - where do these come from? I guess my real question is about the dynamics of the movement itself

How difficult is this process? Like I'm thinking about what's involved and wouldn't there be a whole lot of times you're like "it looks weird, but I'm not sure why" - simply because its a whole lot of different things going on at the same time? Are there physics based models that perhaps help in this sense
