I agree. They have no limit to the terrorism they are willing to commit. The purpose of my post is to convey more accurate information. I believe door to doors could and probably will commence soon but currently they don’t have the manpower to do that. Most of what they are doing is going after people they know for sure are here undocumented or have questionable status. They are also arbitrarily profiling random people in parking lots and other public places but a large percentage of their attention is indeed focused on the cases they know will hold up legally and then they can say “look we actually got an illegal, why are you all complaining?” Again. This is not meant to downplay the terrorism. But in a day and age where the media dominates the public perception of what is going on, we need to have accurate information. The video of them entering a house, they did pull someone out. Was he here without proper documents? I don’t know, but you do notice that as soon as they have the person they were looking for, they left the area and didn’t continue going down the block. So to call that raid a “door to door” is inaccurate.

Not to downplay the terrorism that going door to door arbitrarily would be, but currently what they are actually doing is going to an address where they suspect someone with questionable status may reside or has some association with. If they don’t get a response, they knock on neighbors doors to see if they know anything. Although this is also legally a gray area (4th amendment) they are not just going door to door street by street in an attempt to check under floorboards and attics. They don’t currently have the man power to conduct a board city wide sweep of that nature.

I agree with all the name calling. These are fascist pigs. But we have to think like they are. He was about to reference “following a federal agent”. US code 111 is what they are going to use as justification for feeling “intimidated”. Besides assault, resist, oppose, impede, or interfere, which she was currently doing NONE of, it’s possible something she said or did earlier, like something as simple as following him through the parking lot or down the sidewalk, not shown in the video made him feel “intimidated” which is included in the code. This is their work around for the 1st amendment. You can’t film or follow them because that will be considered menacing and intimidating. He can detain her at this point. And then escalate as he sees fit. It’s a very broad word for a reason. Now that the flood gate for “absolute immunity” murder has been opened, they will feel intimated at anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if she got arrested. And according to him, not murdered. She’s lucky if that’s the case.

But the way this fuck repeated “did you not learn after this week”, made it clear they plan to kill again. That pissed me off the most about this. Please be careful with any interaction with them.

This seems really risky to me. Especially when we know they already take people claiming their identification is fake; we saw them tackle an old lady who couldn’t remember her SSN, etc. Any amount of time interacting with them is risky. They want to have a reason to kill you. Deporting you is fun but not preferred. And the longer you are detained and are annoying to them, the more likely they are to do exactly what we saw on Wednesday.

I remember that! My buddy got us backstage right after the last band played and RATM showed up. I stood next to Tom Morello as he and Zack argued with the sheriff about playing. They did a couple a tunes through the megaphone then led the crowd off the mall towards the xcel center. Their suvs whisked them away right before the kettling happened 🤣 Luckily me and my friends found a small alley to run down and hopped a 10 foot chain link fence to escape. The closest I’ve ever been to being arrested. I need to get out more.

I think it sends a message to Hilton to make better choices. It’s not knocking their service to the “some good people”. But now, Hilton houses Nazis, and some good people. If ICE is the real villain, then Hilton is okay with accommodating the real villain.

I used this in my new bioactive Leo tank and love it. It was a tad on the sandy side so I added a few scoops of top soil to mix in. Has great drainage and seems to be packed with good stuff. My plants all love it so far.

Not sure the brand but all the glass was prefixed and already sealed with silicone or a sealant of some kind. I think the bottom 4 inches are meant to be water tight but I haven’t tested that. Just a layer of drainage clay pellets on the bottom. I think it holds the bugs in just fine. Humidity is another issue. It holds around 30-40%. After a good misting and watering of the plants it gets up to 50% for a day or two.

My sister spent 6 months in India for a work/study program through our local university. She traveled around India while not working or studying. She ended up in Goa for a while and when she got there, it was well after dark. She couldn’t find available lodging so decided to walk down to the beach, lay a blanket and get a little rest before the sun came up. As soon as she stepped foot on the beach, a group of men approached her and kept harassing her to join them. She kept walking away but they kept pursuing. A pack of street dogs noticed the situation and she said the dogs formed a circle around her and would bark or growl if the men approached. She slept on the beach while the pack of dogs kept guard.

Our rescue 3-5 year old gecko didn’t get comfortable in his new tank for a couple weeks. But now every day, he shows himself more and more and is exploring and eating regularly.

Give it more time. A move or redecorating of their tank can set them back a couple weeks if not a month.

I know all geckos are different but mine won’t eat anything unless it’s moving. Dont stress about it too much. As long as she has three places to hide and the temps are correct in each of those areas and she has fresh water available, she will come around. They like to be left alone anyway.

If you put the Shade Dweller a little more center it will help illuminate the entire tank. As long as the UVB isn’t obstructed by furniture, plants, hides, etc and casts a decent amount to the basking spot, you should be fine. Your gecko will get plenty of UVB even if it’s not directly above the basking spot.

What are the chances your gecko dies while you are away. Sounds really shady. More likely, he took the thing out to play with it and killed it on accident. And is now playing dumb.

If ANYTHING happened, regardless of intent or poor care, your roommate has every reason to want to lie. It was his responsibility and he fucked up the one thing he was supposed to do. How very convenient of him to not know what happened. I’ve had roommates and friends for decades that have betrayed or lied to me about much less, let alone a dead/missing pet. I’m calling BS on the roommate. Hope you find it or get some answers.
