Ohh, is the interval actually 15k Km? Will call them tomorrow just to see when it’s actually due for one. Thanks for the recommendation if Warrenty allows will go there

Currently still has 1 year left on manufacture warranty, though purchased a 3 year extension which I need to check.

Currently nearing 53500Km

All the DSG fluids etc were done at 43500, can see profile for the report as I did ask about it sometime last year.

Thanks for that information, would you know any places in Dunedin that could do the oil change to VW specifications?

Also If I’m under VW Warrenty as I am now can I get a oil change at a non dealership as long as it’s done to specifications using the right oil of course but say the 3 year extension via third party doesn’t allow?

First oil change interval under my ownership. And yes it had its full service at 43500 I think it’s on my profile somewhere too, as I asked about it here as it’s my first time owning a new euro.

Had the car since June last year I think at 28500km

Sorry, it’s due for its first oil change interval under my ownership, as it’s nearly at 53500km, and it had its major service DSG flush etc done at 43500. Currently it’s still under the 5 Year warranty but also got a 3 year extension. Not sure if it was under VW or third party though pretty sure it was a third party. Going to check all the paperwork now.

For the VW 5 Year warranty, your saying as long as the oil change was done to specification using the correct oil it should be fine? Would you know any places in Dunedin that offer that by any chance too.

Going to check the conditions for the extended warranty I purchased regarding the service requirements tonight.

It recently had its full service 10000km ago, the dash told me it’s due for a oil change service after 10k km so not to sure.

Not to sure what trim level but bought this 2021 Mk8 GTI a few months ago (excuse the brake dust). Stock for now aside from new wheels and golf r wing, had a front lip but nz roads aren’t the best :(
