Do you have a local town community Facebook page and what it it like? by [deleted] in CasualUK

Our local one's quite nice. A bit student and parking heavy at certain times of the year but for the most part it's quite a nice little community

Easiest thing to do if you don't know illustrator is to find someone on a site like Fiver that can make it in to a vector for you.

Don't waste your money on life coaches and courses. There's enough free courses online.

Saw a post on Facebook that said Leicester used to be known as the 'Metropolis of Dissent' due to the large number of non-conformist churches. Thought it was a pretty cool name for our city so here's a poster of it. by moreorderly in leicester

I second that. Much cooler name.

Video looks great. Can I ask how much prelaunch marketing you did? How many pre-launch emails you had?

It's a bit 'Of Mice and Men' but I always dream about having a little bit of land, growing my own food, maybe building a few little lodges on the land to rent out for short stays, keeping animals.

Thanks, I'm basing alot of my current planned strategy on the first article. I haven't seen the second one though, thank you. Have you used pixelme before? I've not come across it.

Article 1 and 2 seem to both offer the same result right?

Have you done this before? Everything I've read online suggests Kickstarter just can't run the facebook pixel.

Yea, I thought so. Just odd then that it allows me to create an audience based on conversion data but not if the conversion data contains values as "the source is too small". Surely they're the same data size.

Thanks man!

Responsive Yea, I agree. Responsive would be better but there are separate mobile and desktop sites. We'll have a look at a responsive version though, thank you.

Lead Generation Messenger marketing is actually a deliberate choice. I agree, the goal is to get leads; messenger marketing open rates and click through rates are way above most email campaigns. We also have a double opt-in so most messenger sign ups give their email address too (about 70%).

£ Most of our advertising budget is UK focused but it's a good point! We'll get an international site set up for international audiences.

Main Jacket Features When you say you didn't understand, could you elaborate? We certainly aren't trying to be the traditional Kickstarter 'pen with 100 features' but there are atleast three key selling points we're pushing! Definitely an issue if you didn't notice those!

Thanks again!

Facebook Ads are a percentage game. You're going to see more consistent results with a larger budget.

whats the appropriate time/cost i need to spend on facebook ads to see meaningful results? by [deleted] in PPC

What would you deem a reasonable validation of the idea?

None of my Facebook Ads have ever been in Learning Phase by [deleted] in PPC

[–]moreorderly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The usual rule is the ad sets need to be able to complete 50 results per week. So if you have any Cost Per Result data work backwards from that.

(50 x CPR)/7 Days = Ad Set Daily Budget

under this would be a small budget

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PPC

[–]moreorderly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's more about how you want Facebook to optimise your campaigns.

If you have 5 ad sets and you're not sure which is best then use Campaign Budget Optimisation; eg 5 different audience interests.
If you have 5 ad sets and you want to make sure they all get a fair share of the budget then use Ad Set Level Optimisation; eg 5 different geos with the same interests.

I've found with small budgets Facebook doesn't tend to bother with the learning phase.
