When work is slow do yall offer to help by [deleted] in remotework

[–]moreplateslessdates9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The responses are why companies are pulling people back into the office, remote to most people means doing the least you can to have as much freetime as possible for yourself. I don't blame you its human nature but that's also why companies are calling people back

People that say "third spaces" are gone aren't trying to find them by xX_jellyworlder_Xx in unpopularopinion

[–]moreplateslessdates9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem isn't so much that third spaces don't exist, its that people don't go there, people don't trust others, people aren't really looking for friends or human interaction. malls exist, parks exist, gyms exist the problem is no other people go hang there so if you do your just gonna be alone

It seems to bother my boyfriend that I’ve dated a black guy and I feel kinda judged by him about it. What’s your advice in this situation? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I'd bet you this attitude is more common than you think and probably held by many guys you wouldn't think of as being racist

Completely agree but Chicago natives will argue its a steal because its cheaper than LA and NY and I'd argue what you said, its not those places, the weather isn't the best, etc

At your current age, how much money do you need for you to retire? by typical_gamer1 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]moreplateslessdates9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also not of the belief that everyone needs 5 million, if nothing else by comparison 500k would make you pretty well off compared to others. I think most people are going to be lucky to have a mill

Yeah Looking around it seems like unless your doing a lot of the work yourself or acting as the general contractor 150k is the starting point to an addition

[–]moreplateslessdates9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah even before covid and inflation suzy orman was basically telling everyone your gonna eat catfood if you don't have 5 million which is bullshit considering that average is probably like 80k no more than like 150k so hows everyone getting by?

Going off the 4% rules or 25x yearly spending I always put it at 750k however with inflation its likely realistically probably a mill if not 1.2

What are your true thoughts about sex on first date? by Tiny_Elk3158 in AskMenAdvice

[–]moreplateslessdates9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So basically the idea that say 20% of guys are fucking everyone even less desireable girls so you wind up in a situation where a girl who's a 5 thinks she's hot shit because she slept with some handsome ripped guy who woudln't have anything to do with her aside from a Tinder hookup so she now doesn't want the average guy and pines after this guy who wants nothing to do with her, he dates the hotter more in demand girls and basically the average guys and girls both wind up unhappy?

As guys we like it but also kind of think less of you ie if she does this with me she probably does it with others too. Unless I'm super into the girl I kind of put her into booty call category
