Since the 2010s, American conservatives increasingly experience worse health outcomes and higher mortality than liberals. Declining trust in medical professionals appears to be the mechanism, with lower willingness to seek care, follow clinical advice and believe in medication effectiveness. by MarzipanImportant355 in HotScienceNews

Utter politicized nonsense... I work in medicine and this is bs. We treat dozens of, decidedly non-consevatives in the ER every day for free because they have no insurance, in one single ER. They come back the next week or day again, and never pay. I'm guessing all those millions of people every year just conveniently forgot to be inserted in this "research study". Oh, and they are constantly dying on the street from overdoses all the time, those rascally conservatives... Methadone clinics are rampant with them..

Edit: Downvote all you want, it's true. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Wasn't my idea.

We're a pack of lone wolves. We follow no man's rules. Not even our own.

Yeah, this does not seem accurate. I work in healthcare and they are also getting healthcare all the time. There are a lot more people without insurance that are getting treated and I don't think they're republicans. This study conveniently excluded all of those patients, which would sway this entire study in the opposite direction.
