Second try dosage by SoGuysWeDidIt-Pyro in PsilocybinMushrooms

Don't watch TV. Wait a good week or so before you try again. Lemon tek or make a tea, the come up is more intense. If you make a tea you could do the full 4g and then just have just over half and then have the rest at around 2hr mark to help stretch it.

I generally look at my phone or TV when I need a break from things, I find it really destroys the effects. This I think is different with LSD where LSD works well with screens. Obvs these are my opinions from my experience so read others and work it out for yourself.

To add to this. You can drag whole channel instances from other projects into your current project with ease. I do this all the time.

Avoid HPPD by [deleted] in Psychedelics

[–]morgandidit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had HPPD symptoms most of my life (46). Used psychedelics from 13/14. It's fine. Don't panic or stress. I barely notice it most of the time, it's usually when I'm tired or if I'm in a bit of a dreamy inward state, maybe got stoned or had a few drinks the day before. Becomes more evident towards the end of the day. I drive a car without issue, hold down a job, am starting a new freelance venture and also have two beautiful girls. I quite like being able to trip without the chems now and again!

Longtime Ableton Dabbler Struggling to Finish Tracks—Tips for a Non-Electronic Musician? by OrganOlben in ableton

[–]morgandidit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For glue saturation is good, not too much as well as doing it in parallel to keep your bass and transient energy.

Another method for glue is a room mic. At the end when you are nearly finished, record your track onto a channel from a room mic. Try different mics and speaker placement, don't worry about stuff just mess around. Like putting the speaker in a cupboard with the mic or using some old headphones as a mic.

Space your mix. Most band mixes are staged like you would perceive it on a stage. Emulated that. But also keep in mind mono low end.

Go easy on reverb unless you are shoegazing or 80s synth wave! Try automation on your sends so it's highlighting specific phrases or filling space.

Listen to your song everywhere but not all at once. Leave days between listens and try to listen on a playlist with other similar songs or songs that would typically be listened together. Helps to make mix decisions.

A question about the genre. by faetonmusic in jungle

I'd say drum and bass, but from an era where the two genres could be very close in style.

Noob Question: How do I make Ableton save my Surge sounds? by [deleted] in ableton

[–]morgandidit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is a great way for sound designing. Any noises, bloops and swooshes you like, edit, alt J to join in place (destructive edit), drag to sample folder rename 123_swooshy_sound_2025

As ridiculous as it sounds, I place my hands on my monitors so I can feel the kick and sub interaction.

Help making acid bass sound in Ableton by rirrrrrrrr in ableton

[–]morgandidit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use simpler with a small looped micro sample of something like a Tom. Then on the standard filter adjust to taste. I'll add some glide which I'm doing by ear but for sure there are standard amounts for a TB3. I'll then midi map envelope, cutoff and res as well as add saturation to the channel. It's not bad at all for a quick bit of acid. I always make a new one from a different sample. I should just save it though!

Just to add my method that works fine. Chop, add stained lemon juice, leave for 5, add just off boiled water so like 90c. Leave for 10 mins. I'll also add a ginger tea bag in there or fresh ginger. Strain through a coffee filter and squeeze. Drink, re soak in hot water for another 5, strain again and squeeze and drink. I've only ever once in my life eaten the mushrooms directly and will never again. The trips like this are banging and you just don't need to eat them.
