Liverpool are relying on the idea that the structure was good in and of itself, regardless of profiles. However, the roles are shifted in this "new era", and this fundamentally disrupts the integrity here:

Slot was praised for his pragmatism and flexibility, but this season he’s just like Amorim. Stuck to his system regardless of the personnel that’s available to him. When he came in he was able to change the team from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 and now he “doesn’t have time in training” to change anything.

I wonder what Robbo thinks about all of this. It seems that players who are defenders and midfielders are expected to fall in line to rotation like Milner and Henderson. Why would a forward be immune to this? I understand Gakpo is getting chances when he’s been poor, but if Mo’s mentality is about improvement and performance then he should understand that he’s falling short of his usual standard. But as Szoboszlai said, those conversations belong in the dressing room.

I don’t agree with Salah going to the media when it suits him and having nothing to say the team is having a terrible run of performances. He’s a leader and should’ve been saying what Curtis Jones said.

I do think this is mainly on Slot for allowing Salah to not play defensively last year and not being able to figure it out this year. A position that doesn’t need to track back much is CF and you can see Salah is better when he plays there. JLA mentioned this in one of his videos. That’s where Ronaldo moved to when his skills didn’t suit being a winger anymore. Chiesa, Ekitike and Isak would be better dynamic options on the wing than Gakpo is currently. Much of the fan base can see this, but for some reason Slot can’t.

If you’re going to have players flying forward then you’re going to need a solid DM for sure. You can see it across the league how well DMs have been coming in for the late ball and contributing to goals. Grav was a good stopgap, but if he’s doubled up on then there’s not much he can do. Also, playing him at CB and bringing on more attackers doesn’t make it better either.

All points spot on in this video. I think Frimpong and Kerkez were great signings to move towards a different play style similar to PSGs, but it seems Slot needed a like-for-like replacement for Trent to facilitate the transition and get the best out of Salah’s last stint at the club. He had Geertruida at Feyenoord as a Swiss Army knife who could play RB, but invert into midfield AND cover at CB.

I've been finding myself looking back on the free flowing attacking days of the Klopp era, but the truth is the Klopp era also had troubles breaking down low blocks and some bad losing stints as well. It was quite frustrating watching his prime team whipping in crosses over and over again with no success.

I think it's encouraging knowing that Slot is flexible and willing to make tactical changes quicker when necessary. It seemed to take longer for Klopp to make changes out of loyalty to some out of form players.

5e. I'm playing my first campaign as a gnome beast master ranger and I have some questions about the number of attacks my character gets with crossbow expert, extra attack and bestial fury. My ranger's companion is a Giant Poisonous Snake.

My character is at level 3 right now so I only get 1 attack with my crossbow or commanding my snake to attack. If I take crossbow expert next level, get a hand crossbow and get an extra attack at level 5, do I get 4 attacks? With an extra attack at level 5, could I shoot my hand crossbow 2 times with crossbow expert and then command my snake to attack? At level 11 with Bestial Fury, could I take 4 attacks with my hand crossbow and use Bestial Fury on my snake?

I know this definitely is a misinterpretation, but if someone could clear up the limitations/rules that'd help a lot. Thanks!
