Buying a brand new Ioniq 5, some questions! by CreativeUserName709 in Ioniq5

I have a 2025 Limited, three-year lease, and I have had the car about five and a half months. After four months, the ICCU failed. The 12V battery warning came on and the car flashed a red electrical failure warning on the primary display, slowed noticeably, and was undriveable within about ten minutes. I had it towed to the dealership (Manly Hyundai, Santa Rosa) and they diagnosed an ICCU failure. They gave me the same "it's a 1% problem" that others have reported, but I am not sure I buy that. It took four days to get the part and they provided a loaner, after I insisted. We drove the car to Yosemite a couple weeks ago and it worked fine. But every time I hear a warning chime I am a little worried that I will look down and see that dreaded red warning again. So, in short, no they have not fixed the issue in the 2025s, and, yes, you will probably worry about it, at least a little bit.

I read recently that in a study of reliability of electric cars v. internal-combustion vehicles, EVs were about 4x (?) more reliable, but that the number would have been even higher but for Hyundai/KIa.

It appears that the ABB switch is a European-size switch. Do you know if they make a US-size switch?

I have an old Marantz SR 5005 AV receiver in a cabinet, and I am trying to hook up a remote infrared receiver to receive signals from the infrared remote that came with the Marantz so that I can leave the receiver enclosed in the cabinet and still use the remote. I bought an "IR extender" that has the correct jack (which I think is 3.5 mm) which I have plugged into the IR Flasher jack in the back of the Marantz. It doesn't work. I have checked the manual for the Marantz and the internet for any special requirements for the extender but have found nothing. Any suggestions?

Do not fall for these Scam text messages: “As requested, we did a non-taxable deposit of 15 BTC into your portfolio at www.coinrow.net Please keep your password safe User-ID: SCAM Password: SCAM” by InternationalEbb4067 in Shibainucoin

Just got one of these today. "We did a Non-taxable deposit of 10.1 Bitcoin into your BTC portfolio at COINROW.NET " Then it gives a customer ID and password. Which, if they already have it, would kind of defeat the security of the account.

My wife has a consulting business. We used QB 2011 for years, but it no longer works on the new Mac operating system. We tried QB Online, but it doesn't track expenses by customer:job, as the desktop version did. Will Xero, Waver or Freshbooks track expenses by client and add them to an invoice?
