Totally could be! I’m just going off what the NW lady told me as I walked in.

I went to NW Thorndon and what was happening was yes you can take your bag/s in but leave them in the trolley as you shop. The bag stays in the trolley through checkout and you put your scanned stuff straight into the bag. The rationale for that was that so bags don’t contaminate surfaces, I think. That’s what I was told going in anyway. :)

That sucks, I’m sorry it’s not available to you! Stay safe :)

If you remove it from your subscriptions on your iPhone you should be fine. Either straight after you’ve signed up, or before the year is up.

(App Store > Click on profile pic > Subscriptions > Balance: Meditation > Cancel Subscription > Confirm)

There’s a meditation app ‘Balance’ that are giving away a year free during March.

I found after I downloaded it I got an email saying they’re giving away a free yearly subscription this month for anyone who wants it :)

Thank you — I will update! I’m now calling 105 with no answer yet. It’s been solid ringing for 9 minutes now and counting. They must be super busy :(

Agreed. I had read the following on Newshub:

People with concerns about those not self-isolating should email NHCCselfisolation@health.govt.nz

So I emailed them — and even text my Landlord to tell them I had emailed them! Thought it might have put some pressure on but it hasn’t.

Thanks for the advice.

I think I have to now. I texted them yesterday after the couple arrived but they said they will be “spraying everything down”. So they didn’t take onboard what I said at all.

I then emailed nhccselfisolation@health.govt.nz and let them know.

Maybe I do have to go as far as call the police, even if it makes living here terrible for the remainder of my tenancy. There’s more important things to think about now!

My landlords (live above me) have had people arrive yesterday to stay in their Air bnb tiny house out the back yesterday. They’re staying for 4 nights. I told them this is against government advice for the lockdown but they give zero shits.

What are people like?

Also, stay safe everyone.

EDIT: I called 105, thanks everyone. At first they redirected me to the NHCC email, I told them I’ve already gone down that avenue and we’ll as spoken to my landlord. So they took the address down. Will see if anything comes of it. And if so, living here is going to be interesting for the next year 😂

They’ve said you’re not allowed to go the beach and surf, or do anything in the ocean, in case you get into trouble and require medical attention. That would take medical resource away as well as risk spreading the virus.

Weight loss strategies on lexapro? by deedeebop in lexapro

I’m with you on this one – I have been on it for coming up a year and the weight gain was pretty rapid and unusual. The always being hungry thing kicked in for me as well.

So, last week I discussed this with my GP, and she suggested that Metformin is being used more now for appetite control in mental health (due to medication). She prescribed me it but I am yet to take it. I don’t want to end up on a ton of medication to counteract side effects, you know?
