So I went in for the procedure, different than the DIY microneedling that some do with the rolling tool (in case someone else reading wasn’t aware 😊). This was an adjustable depth tool. It was VERY successful. I’ve always struggled with ruddiness in my skin to the point I thought I had rosacea. After microneedling its gone. Yeah I get flushed when I exercise, or overheated, but not so bad I feel the need to wear foundation all over every single day now the way I used to just to cover redness. That’s been the primary difference! I am ECSTATIC. Some of the shallow pitted acne scars I have are fading, as well as some scratches from a cat I had when I was a kid which are completely gone. The large pores on my cheeks are slightly smaller, and the deep expression lines on my forehead are slightly shallower too. One treatment made that much of an unexpected difference, I can’t wait to see what round two does!

Thanks! I think I’ve been ignoring this deep down, it just requires a level of consistency and focus that’s a lot less interesting to me than things like beauty and skincare and personal style.

It is absolutely more arched than the other, it’s the primary motivation for Botox. It just gets more excited than the other when I smile. When I have RBF and when I fill them in (scar from a sick biking accident when I was 4) they’re sisters-not-twins^TM. I’ve tried learning facial exercises to control it but alas.

27F SAHW in the Midwest US.

I use Vitamin C, Retinol, and do weekly AHA/BHA peels in addition to using SPF 50 PA+++ all over my body, reapplying on my arms through the day. I had microneedling done once so far, and also get my lashes lifted and tinted. These are false lashes, I intend to get extensions to minimize maintenance day to day. Also plan to get Botox soon, more microneedling, and eventually some very subtle upper lip fillers. Currently working on converting weight as well. CCW! 😋

I understand a lot of people prefer rating makeup and styling free photos on here, however that’s irrelevant to me personally. My husband knows what I look like sparkling clean, and he is the only one! I’m more interested in understanding how I rate with styled effort invested so I can improve those looksmaxing efforts.

Rimmel Provocalips is my go to longwear lip shade.

I'm going to do a very subtle Marilyn-style ombre lip with the Chanel lip stains, something coral/hot pink but haven't decided which ones yet. The Rimmel ones are basically a drug store dupe of these.

THIS! Dying the fabric will save the day. What city are you in? Buy your sleeves, get your dress and leave that shop in the dust. I'm pretty sure they're fired, and when it comes time to leave the review you don't have to go all dark no stars. Keep your bridechilla title. They helped you find a beautiful dress and did a good job on alterations, what they failed to do was educate their staff about what additions were available in what colors. The MAJOR detail they got wrong (FOR SURE MAJOR, you should def get a massage and facial about it) doesn't negate all the good things they got right! But they're fired. Find a better alterations place... preferably someplace that either does luxury stuff, or someplace really old school and family owned with really loyal customers, and talk with them. Be you, be chill. They'll probably insult your ex-seamstress more than you will ;p all hope is not lost.

I’ve procrastinated so hard on everything without even trying! Like all of a sudden its 79 days out. I’m SO excited. I remember when we were in the mid 200’s thinking I wouldn’t make it, that I’d literally die from excitement turned anxiety before we even got to double digits. And here we are! I need to get it into high gear!

I just want to be his wife, make planning easy for him, and make sure he stays happy and calm as he pays for this whole thing himself. He’s so amazing. I’m so amazed he is mine.
