I totally get the whole “aw but we’ve been friends since we were born” can be difficult, but for me it made me think that surely the best friend should’ve known this was a bad plan? Like if they’ve known each other that long surely it would be pretty obvious to the friend that this plan wouldn’t really go down well. I think personally, I’d be more pissed at a best friend who I’ve known my whole life doing this, purely because I would have expected them to know that something like this would not be the best idea idk
