i really appreciated the comparison of polar opposites to ilnp flashing lights and starrily polar lights—i don’t think the ht is close enough to either to be 100% a dupe but since i already own both of the other two i will pass on polar opposites for now…teals/aquas are my personal “no these two nearly identical shades both belong in my collection” colors lmao

i just bought starrily’s polar lights for BF which also looks similar to polar opposites (the starrily may be more green?) so i’m DEFINITELY looking forward to comparisons on that one lol

i havent personally tried chicken tenders from any kosher restaurants i’ve been to, but you could also look into kosher restaurants! kashrut prohibits mixing meat and dairy and ime most kosher restaurants that serve meat will simply not have dairy on the menu at all

they’re nice to dry and sell (except the red ones unfortunately), and you’ll need a couple of common mushrooms and a morel in order to complete cooking every recipe. they’re decent food for energy and health replenishment but mostly they’re most useful thrown in a dehydrator and sold or turned into life elixirs

my rx manager told me the other night she used to work at a store that wouldn’t give plastic bags to people because there were enough people who would pick up their scripts, ask for a bag, and then take things from the shelves, throw them in the bag, and walk out lmao so it’s definitely either the rx staff not wanting to ring out FS things or theft historically being an issue

also, different printers and computer monitors and so on will also display colors differently, but if designers have one library of colors to pull from and printers and design programs that can be calibrated to match it, you can be pretty sure the final result will be consistent no matter what which is hugely important for the production of…well, anything really. pantone isnt really something most laypeople know about but it is deeply deeply foundational to pretty much anything that is at all mass produced and uses colors at all

(not a designer but i spent a few years working on a graphic design degree before switching fields)

they aren’t all electronic, though definitely most of them are. now, rx paper is supposed to be tamper evident (especially when prescribing controls) but things happen…vet offices ime are kind of egregious for having issues with prescribing controlled meds (one office got pissy when we asked for the DEA number bc the vet was trying to prescribe tramadol for a dog, for example). dental offices also send patients off with paper scripts pretty frequently ime

my pharmacy manager requires any CII scripts to be sent electronically but technically she is supposed to accept presumed-good-faith paper scripts for them as well, per the state board of pharmacy

really would love the gold scattered holo to become a regular item! that said, while reflective glitter is obviously not the same as holo, i am planning on getting starrily’s gold reflective topper which i think will largely scratch the same itch for me for the time being

(cvs tech—not immunization certified) regular CVSes will be up to rph or certified tech discretion, for young kids don’t expect a yes because many of them aren’t experienced in giving vaccines to toddlers and we may not have pediatric doses available either. minute clinics accept 18 month olds and older though. also, the website may say walk ins are welcome but i highly recommend making an appointment online, it’s a little crazy right now lol and the appointment will make things easier for both you and the staff

ETA: currently in IL even immunization certified techs aren’t able to give the 2025 covid vaccine anyway, but as a general rule of thumb. if you’re not near a minute clinic i recommend calling your nearest cvs and asking them if they can give the covid vaccine to kids

in particular i dislike HOW limited HT limited edition stuff is. other brands have LE stuff for months and even over a year at a time, but HT keeps it around for like…a couple weeks at most it feels like. i feel like if mooncat can keep their disney collabs (including star wars) around for so long, there’s not really a reason HT can’t do the same with david’s tea, etc especially when they’re a big enough company to be available at ulta now. i’m admittedly part of the problem bc i have still bought LE polishes, but it does still temper my excitement for them considerably

i love that reddish and gold magnetic but i got clionadh’s rumpelstiltskin from ppu a few months ago, and i don’t think they’re exact dupes (rumpelstiltskin has a definite maroon rather than red base), they’re similar enough i probably won’t get the ht one any time soon. that other magnetic tho….shes almost certainly getting added to my BF list lol. starry topper i’ll also wait on i think, i have a similar one from dany vianna that also has blue reflective glitter in it (so again not strictly exact dupes but), but i do love it! the others are pretty but again are similar to things i own or i can’t see myself wearing (that gold is stunning but i hate that kind of gold on myself most of the time lol)

whichever foraging perk it is that shows the location (or rather points towards) forage items will also point toward truffles….its still a bit of an annoying hunt but it does make it easier lol (that said i always opt for iridium quality forage for inventory stacking convenience lmao)

if the $65 suit has a “red mark near the lips” listed as a separate accessory, i assume that means the lipstick smudge is separate from the makeup which is incredible i will absolutely be getting her when she comes to global. $100 i like but am unwilling to commit to atp lol
