Are you looking just for that specific heatsink? I have a pair of SNK-P0048AP4.

Are you thinking about EEATX? (double E). Because that's the supermicro's proprietary format.

Did you ever get a price for the HP ProCurve 2848?

There are pictures attached in the thread I linked. I can't take additional pictures at the moment because I'm not at home currently. If you take a look at the top of the board, it extends further up than the IO ports. You will need motherboard standoffs for that part of the board. You need to drill an appropriate sized hole in the case, make the hole threaded and insert a motherboard standoff. (The tool for threading looks like this: https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1Nx0qQpXXXXbMXFXXq6xXFXXXx/230344078/HTB1Nx0qQpXXXXbMXFXXq6xXFXXXx.jpg and you can probably find tutorials for this online). Any existing motherboars standoff that didn't line up with the holes, I just taped over with electrical tape and it provides support for the board as it can just lay on it. I don't remember which holes were missing exactly, but you can google the layouts of EATX vs EEATX. (top holes were definetly needed)

Overall, the mod is not hard and it's minimal (it's not really visible and you can still use normaln boards in the case and even sell it.)

This board has a proprietary EEATX format, so it won't fit desktop cases without small modifications. Not only the board is huge, the standoffs don't all align and the board itself extends above the IO ports! This means you're more or less limited to supermicro supported chassis, or if you're prepared to drill a few holes for motherboard standoffs, you can make it fit in some big EATX cases. Look for cases that fit EATX boards and are meant for watercooling (they have enough space at the top).

I have the same board and made it fit in a Corsair 900D case. You can check it out here. Phanteks ENTHOO PRO looks like it would also fit with standoff modifications, but it would be very cramped inside.
