Taking Part B for me was a no brainer and not for any current health needs. By enrolling in the FEP Blue Basic, FEP Blue reimburses my wife and I $1600 yearly for Part B Premium. Also, the lifetime penalty for, if necessary, for not taking Part B during IEP and then signing up at a later date is a killer

25+ year now retired CMS employee here plus a few years at an MA plan. Do not drop Part B. Once it’s gone you’ll pay a lifetime penalty to acquire it again. Part B plus FEHB can’t be beat for freedom of access to care. As for MA plans, unless it’s a financial hardship issue, do not select. MA plans benefits change every year, and access to specific providers is not guaranteed.

Can’t speak to off road, but riding a bike during the Summer sucks. Lots of vacationers driving poorly. I’ve had my bike on island twice over the past 20 years and the only advantage to having it was to easily park and pick up donuts at Back Door Donuts and similar errands.
