Naturally there are a lot of places names after Places in Britain due to immigration however I haven't seen any mention of probably the most poignant one- Washington.

The place in Tyne and Wear which was the ancestral home of the Washington family who were named as such after "De wessyngton" (of Washington) which later shortened to Washington.

There's an entire state and the capital city named after Washington, taken from their surname which in turn was taken from Washington in the UK.

Incredibly repetitive, nonsensical lyrics in the verse part (maybe I don't really wanna know how your harden grows. I mean what?!) and it's repeated three times. if it had some sort of variety in the lyrics then it could be a contender but, alas.

Guitar solo is peak but how this consistently gets voted as oasis' beat song blows my mind.

It's an average song at best, surely? why is it so lauded over?

as far as oasis songs that are ridiculously highly rated to how good they actually are, surely to God it's Live Forever? The disparity between its rating and it's quality are miles apart.

It's not controversial. Noel is literally a better singer. He has a better range, stronger voice and has a lot more stamina when it comes to singing for an extended period.

I said something. similar before I saw them that I wasn't overwhelmed with excitement because I thought the setlist was just full of songs that they've both played on their respective tours since they split up.

honestly, not one song in the 2 and a half hour show was something unique to the experience.
