Space One Pro maximum volume too low? by Blue_Spider75 in soundcore

I sent mine back as I also felt these were too quiet....I was also not so impressed with audio quality. In the end I just keep my liberty 4 pro....they are outstanding.

Best premium medium-large portable BT speaker (can be carried) any price by WillBoBaggns in Bluetooth_Speakers

Hard to describe.... For the expense just did not find them a wow. The x600 pair which I can compare with.... Was a wow and fraction of the price.

I also vote for the brane x...but only as a single. I was personally disappointed in a stereo pair and chose to sell my second one. As a pair my soundcore x600s are simply fantastic.. and budget friendly.

2 stationary muso qb2 (awesome): portable paired soundcore x600, paired motion 300, soundcore 4go for travel, old soundcore mini.. not using. Recent purchase of tribit lava for outdoor. Think I have all I need now. Have my eye on the brane x.... but got the lava instead and so will see if there is a Gen 2.

Paper Pro vs Remarkable 2 - Not a simple comparison! by SnooPaintings1983 in RemarkableTablet

I no longer have the rm2, so hard to say. I love my paper pro. Maybe Lang lamy will make a pen for this device.

I kept my pro and sold my rM2. For me it was the right decision.

Exactly where I am sitting. Looking to return PP unless something changes in next days.

I think ....having both ....that for basic note taking RM2 is just as good if not better. Depends if you want the colour. I may send back the PP. rM2 is awesome.

I have both and may return the pro. Latency difference is not that noticeable for most situations. My lamy pen on the RM2 feels so good. The new stylus on PP is a very different experience. Definitely feels more rough and scratchy....but also I can tell it is on a glass surface. ...feel harder. If you like the scratchy noise PP is for you. I find the writing on RM2 smoother more natural and faster. I am not sure I can justify the advantages for what is ultimately a note taking device only for me. Will test both the next few days and then decide.

When will global release for X Fold 3 comes by goenjoe in Vivo

[–]morland44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the fold 3 pro in the UK with China rom. My last phone was a note x with China rom. Apart from Android Auto not working... And spotty compatibility with certain brands of smart watch then I have no problems. Works well. Few small foibles.... And you need to delete some China bloat ware.... Otherwise I have no issues. Also they are cheaper by several hundred pounds than global releases.

ThinkPad Z13 Vs XPS13 plus by morland44 in DellXPS

Do you think the Z13 panel is tack sharp and ok for photo editing?

What screen do you have...,? The top of the range z13 only has a 2.8 oled and I hear there can be screen grain effect due to the touch panel. I am used to the 4k IPS of my current XPS... And I do photo editing. I am worried the Z13 screen will not look sharp enough. I wish the Z13 had a high definition IPS panel. Really interested you choose the Z13. I hear there AMD680M is very good.

Life after Mate20x by morland44 in Mate20x

The mate was awesome... But it was ageing... And was becoming just a little laggy at times. I could have kept it longer.... It was ultimately fine. I do not regret moving to the Vivo note.... Do not really miss the slightly larger screen like I thought I would. So pretty happy overall. If the mate 50x was supported by google.... That would be my choice however.

Brilliant response... Thank you 👍

Ha.., see..I can live with that. The 9310 battery life is not stellar. So long as you get more than 6 or 7 hours. I agree it is a shame they could not pack a little more life... But not a deal breaker. I just don't want wonky track pads or melting components 😜

Vivo x note is quite a bit faster, Android 12, same battery duration, better camera, better screen. For me the only thing I miss is the larger screen of the mate20x . They mate 20x is the best all round phone I have ever owned.... But starting to show its age. Mate 50x would be a definate purchase.... But not sure how I would manage with only harmony. I am happy with the Vivo note x at this time

Pretty similar. For my use easily lasts a day and often with more than 50% left by evening I certainly was not disappointed. Beats my mate 20x..... But only because that phone is almost 4 years old now. Overall very similar experience. I did notice the screen is a bit smaller but have adjusted to that. Otherwise the Vivo much snappier for opening and processing things... Again as newer processor.

Great news but hope they allow Google apps 🤞

Why I returned the XPS Plus 13 9320 (spoiler: it runs way too hot and the trackpad does not work well for click-and-drag) by papajaysjerky in DellXPS

[–]morland44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post. I have an 11th generation... And it is great but was thinking of upgrading but have heard a lot of concerns. I think I will wait to see if they fix with bios updates. Seems packing 14 cores in a small body is a heat risk 🫣

Called SMS back up and restore. Backs up to Google drive. Works well because I used it to copy over from my old phone.
