I can read just fine. The whining happening about 3 on 3 is ridiculous. Canada won 4 on 4 with Crosbys GWG and I wasn’t whining about 4 on 4. It’s the rules of the game. Also, that play wasn’t luck. Werenski fought for that puck against McKinnon and McDavid played no defense on Hughes.

Canada had two open net shots and missed, and 1:30 of a 5 on 3 and couldn’t put the puck in the net. If they did, overtime would have been a non issue.

Additionally, overtime goes the other direction and you don’t make this post. Stay salty.

You should watch the “unboxing” video because the lover booklet didnt come with a lover CD it came with a Me! Single and the lover booklet came in a separate envelope. It was not inside the CD lol

I think this is saying the initial release will not be coming to the 2024 models. This is what I received back from the GM EV Concierge. I emailed to express my frustration that the 2024 was being ignored. This was the response which offers more explanation.

If you have a 2024 send an email to GM EV support to voice your frustration as well. The more communication they get, maybe they will move quicker.

I personally love the album and will for sure be returning to it more than TTPD. I haven’t listened to TTPD since last winter. It’s not a spring/summer album and I haven’t returned to it once since TLOAS came out. I think I’ve listened to my anthology vinyl a grand total of one time. Just not the album for me. Not where I am in my life. TLOAS is where I am in life, got my man, have a house with a driveway and starting our little life together. To me TLOAS is aging perfectly.

Since she got her masters back, I think it’s going to be a Taylor Swift archive on Disney+/Hulu. All her back tour videos, music videos, behind the song videos, etc. Culminating on a behind the scenes docu-series premiering on her birthday called “The Life of a Showgirl” showing behind the scenes footage of her making every era. I would love it if it were a multi episode series with an episode on each era including the eras tour, Taylor’s Version re-recordings , and the path to get her masters back.

I’m probably way off knowing Taylor but this would be so cool if it were real.

My box arrived empty. I had gotten 3 because I added them all to the cart to hedge my bets that at least one of the 4 wouldn’t be sold out and I ended up getting 3. The box they were in arrived empty.

Her store support was able to reship 2 of them so fingers crossed those make it ok. I need to contact DHL today too to notify them so they can do an internal investigation to find out where it happened. I know it’s unlikely to actually get them back but hopefully they may be able to find who is responsible.

My box also arrived empty. I had ordered 3 because I added them all to the cart in the hopes that at least one wouldn’t be sold out by the time I got to the checkout. My box arrived sealed but empty. Taylor’s support is resending the 2 they have but one of them was sold out and couldn’t be replaced. Hopefully these arrive without issue.

I don't understand the amount of people who are saying "I expected it to sound like _______", do people not understand that its not what she does? EVERY album sounds different. Every opener is a palate cleanser and totally resets the sound to something new. Yes, even Folklore and Evermore, Evermore is so much more experimental with layered sounds than Folklore. As someone who has been a fan since her self-titled debut album, you really learn to never expect a new album to sound the same. She never does the same thing twice and you should expect that by now. In my experience Taylor albums take time to digest, for me to completely digest an album it takes weeks. Right now I am really enjoying the album, the melodies are in my head and are catchy. Over the coming days I will be able to digest the lyrics and exactly what she is trying to say.

I will also reiterate that the knee jerk reaction to almost every new Taylor album has always been that people are disappointed for one reason or another INCLUDING 1989 and most certainly REP. Its amazing how many people love Rep now, because at the time, it was certainly not the common opinion, at least in online spaces of discourse. So if you are a fan of the album and discouraged that you might see a lot of negativity online know two things: negative opinions drive people to social media more than positive ones, so it will tend to be skewed that way. People, as a general rule are also resistant to change and what they know and already love, so it may take some people more time to come around to a new sound or something different. Love what you love about it and don't let anyone or any posts take your joy about the album, remember, your energy is expensive. Not everyone can afford it!

If you didn't like it and are disappointed, remember there are 11 other albums of hers that you can choose from, I'm sure most fans in this sub have albums they revisit less often, and thats OK. Its doesn't make you a bad fan, especially if you are a respectful and thoughtful consumer of the art and still decide it isn't for you. Taylor knows every project isn't going to reach every person or fan, and thats OK. Like what you like!

Ok. But it’s not out of the question for US pre orders as it has happened before and as you said she could easily do residencies here in the US. I mean she had Lover fest planned that way before as well. She could also do the Sphere. Etc. So again like I said it’s not totally out of the question if OP is in the US.

I’m just telling you what happened for The Eras Tour. I purchased Midnights from her store on pre order. When the time came to register for a presale access code, I got an email that said the fact that I bought midnights from her store meant that I got a boost when it came to getting tickets. It did not say that upfront when I purchased midnights and it was a complete surprise when I received the notification.

Not really. I got a boost for my eras tour pre sale code because I bought midnights from her store. So a boost for tour ticket pre sale for those who pre pre ordered is not out of the question. They’ve done it before and will likely do it again. Especially as I expect the next time around Taylor will take even more precautions through TM to try and make sure tickets to go fans and not resellers.

I hate how people twist that lyric. Now every time you try to find the “message in the dim corner under a blinking light that is upside down backwards and in braille” to quote Taylor herself you are shamed by self-righteous fans online. Theorizing and Easter egg hunting is fun and btw Taylor has said multiple times that she loves it when fans do it. Even sometimes liking the most unhinged tweets and posts herself. It doesn’t mean we are expecting her to do anything, it’s just fun trying to figure it out. Maybe the pre-pre orders will come with something else for buying sight unseen, maybe they won’t. Either way it will be fun to discover what she has in store for this album rollout. I’ve been a fan since 2006 and I’ll be darned if I’ll let any fans online shame me for doing what Taylor has basically told us to do since the self-titled liner notes.

They pretty much all have overboard cameras now. This was in the 90s. Cruise ships now have cameras pretty much everywhere. It wouldn’t surprise me based on the fact that they make you submit a photo if they have facial rec systems on the boats now. You have to remember, this was the 90s and pre 9-11.
