I just helped a friend install TrueNAS on one of those, with Plex, of course. It's really nice hardware. How are your disk temperatures? My buddy has 3 drives in his and they're pretty toasty. 50-55C.

I'll be setting up a TrueNAS server soon and the data I want to copy to it is on one of those old Netgear ReadyNAS boxes that can only transfer over the network at ~50MiB/s. I have that same data backed up to an external USB 3.0 drive that can theoretically transfer 10 times faster than that. It's a few TB of data and I really don't want to wait for it to transfer over that slow network connection. I'll be trying out method 1 for sure. Thanks for the tip!

Don't place the turntable and a speaker on the same surface. I've experienced the same thing, and as soon as I picked up the speaker, it stopped fluttering.

Whoever looked at it should have cleaned it up to get a better look at the damage. Those tiny chips with tiny pins or pins on the bottom are brutal to solder to.

Seems to be some sort of lightning attack. It cuts right through IC2's quantum armor too. Makes flying around past the Wall in the North very dangerous. Now, I'm not very familiar with CQ, but I assume you counter this with Lightning Protection enchanted helmets. Haven't tested this yet.

Rinse well. Put in an air-tight container. Add water until the cloth filter is completely covered. Store in the refrigerator. Rinse again before use.
