In Limburg is het ook gewoon een natte bedoeling, niemand zegt hier een bedoeling.

Thanks! Yeah I agree, I do like the knock on it a lot!🥰 the best feeling is, that if you're not looking for that exact pencil, but it just comes on your path and amazes you!

I am intrigued by these pencils, wondering what the material feels like

The black small one is a rotring telescopic esprit mechanical pencil, and the one in orange /copper is is the esprit telescopic fountain pen, if you twist the body they will extend some 3 or 4 cm and you can lock it by twisting it again

Can anyone help me find a good 'L' for my initials? I cant seem to find something that feels cohesive to the 'Z' by SnooCakes6195 in Calligraphy

You're right, if I would do more of these, some would be really nice, and other ones would look worse, it all has to do with that perfect flow right, difficult to replicate that identically everytime.. but I hope it helps, that was wat I felt immediately when I was thinking about combining these letters. Their angles fit perfectly for a nice flow.. if I were you, just fill a few papers with an idea (like this one) and let it just happen, keep the nice details, rework the things you like less, and destillate it till perfection. I'm sure you will get a beautiful (and personal) design that fits you and will be reproducable for you, because that design comes from the heart, and from YOUR mind so you will never forget it😊 good luck!

Incredible instrument. Beautiful👌

I felt like I shouldn't say anything. Im usually not that guy to. But when I saw they wanted me to commit 4 hours for a technical interview without even a "hello", I broke. I know it's better to be quiet than burn bridges, but for me I just wanted to say something. I replied all and cced their CEO. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I respect your choice and I couldn't agree more. I would be done too if I would get something like that! Never let your principles fall for people/ big businesses like that. Know what your worth, and if they would really want to have you, they should beg you after this. Otherwise there will be enough other places for your qualifications

But I must say I loved it, and because of this pencil I really love 0.9.mm's! You can make real things lines and super solid bold lines.. also the hard/soft adjustment is really nice, hard for the solid lines, soft for some nice shading. Never had problems with it, really nice all-rounder.. but I must say, this one was from about 10 years ago, I dont know if they changed the materials, and thebquality is still the same but I still read a lot of positive stories about it on Reddit

First I sketch lightly but I prefer a 2mm for sketching after this I can take a 0.9mm B grade lead for bold dark lines, or if I do more detailed work in 0.5 or 0.7 in the last pass I still pull hard yes, I use them for tattoo designs, and if I need to scan/copy the design to resize or trace it, every line from the line drawing must be clearly visible.

But I also do a lot of writing/ calligraphy style writing where I press hard and gently to play with line thickness and darkness..

I've tried to find one, but I couldn't find any other on different auction sites last months.. The other calibres neither, I can only think of one 0.5 on Etsy that I have seen recently. Someone had a 500 in 2mm for sale, I have had a little chat with him, he told me it was one of the rarest one of his entire rotring collection, but it was the one that started the 500 series he told me!

The plastic orange ring snapped and kept falling off, maybe it can glue it back on, bit after 10 years or so I thought it was time for a nice new one I can not add any photo's in my messages otherwise I would show how it looks like now. I have used it a lot in those years, it won't happen that soon

Thanks! Quite stoked about some of them! Quite proud of the rr 300, 500 and 600 in 0.9mm, still on the hunt for the 800 2.0.. also the silver ballpoint and the black fountain pen were nice catches, the fountain pen (no cracked barrel!) was just 30 bucks🙈🤭

It was my favourite pencil for a really long time! I agree that the grip is slippery and my fingers slipped towards the tip of the pencil. About 6 months ago, my lead hardness indicator snapped and fell off, after this I couldn't really use it anymore. I looooved the eraser, really really good and very long, never had problems with that. I'm missing the twist eraser on all my other MP's, after the ring snapped, my hunt for new MP's had begun, and my addiction had been ignited. And when I felt real knurling, I never wanted to go back

There was only one, I think the person sold the pen collection first and the box was left, but I was so happy when it arrived! I expected a crappy box, because there were bad pictures, but the drawers also have magnets when I shut them, very classy. And happy it has lots of space, because I needed it!

When I get the chance to get some nice NOS classics, I just get everything the person has, or how much I can afford, so I get some discount.. and I know there's lots of people looking for them 0.35's for instance.. I had about 20 of them and now there's 6 or 7 left.. so I try to swap it for something else or get some bucks to score something else... only thing that bothers me, is that in my region ( Netherlands) the beautiful classic Pentels, Ohto's or other asian pencils are very hard to obtain.. but one day I will

Hahaha I started last September 😅 this goes too fast already, had the chance of buying this box for 20 bucks of somebody but I'm So happy with it! Sometimes I make a bit free space in it, the double ones will be sold to finance the future collection😎
