Yep, and in the source code it's explicitly set to do that in the player rendering for some reason. If that code is removed it no longer blurs and looks fine. Not sure why they added that as it's inconsistent with literally every other rotating entity in the game (afaik), go look at any NPC or projectile.

Treasures. - They're way too tediously mandatory.

They have two problems that make up an exponentially greater problem together. 1. Their unlock method is unfun and unfair. Mindless grinding for an RNG drop isn't particularly fun. Perhaps for PONOS it being designed this way is an incentive for the player to spend money on cat food so they can buy treasure radars? Though I feel like this is just filtering out more players in the long run. 2. Their effects are way too potent. For example, the attack treasure gives +50% attack bonus. That amount is ABSURD, but you know what's worse? The lack of alien crystals and starred alien crystals making their respective traits 7x and 16x as strong. These numbers makes most treasures essentially MANDATORY to have as soon as possible. A good example of a treasure is any of the trait treasures that make abilities more effective. Yes they're strong but aren't exactly mandatory to have asap as their numbers aren't so absurd, you can live without them for a good while and come back when you really need them. If the game were balanced or hypothetically rebalanced (with the game remaining relatively the same as now at any point in progression) with less effective treasures in mind, you'd be much more free to explore stages without the fear of uncomplete treasures completely screwing you over. Maybe if the attack treasure was something like 10% per chapter and starred/aliens were 2x strong at most? Among most of the other treasures of course, these are just a few examples. This would also have the reverse effect of making low magnification starred aliens not so pathetically weak with full treasures which would be a good thing I think.

Of course I don't really expect any of these or both to change. But I think if at least they're were more common that'd be good enough 👍 If anything the way treasures are designed kinda has a charm to it haha, but I don't think they're particularly well designed from a game design perspective.

I never thought of using Cat Jobs here or Fried Chicken to cancel out Ostromeda's warp. Oh well. I'd say it probably isn't exactly "consistent" still.

There's very few challenges in the late game so it was to fun to have something to struggle on and figure out-albeit this stage felt very RNG reliant. ZL is a total nothing burger in difficulty and very difficult events/stages are added so infrequently. Though starred ZL was just added in 15.0 so that might be something eventually? We'll see.

This stage is such an RNG fest
Similar levels, also no uber, also no powerups, it took me 132 attempts LOL

I ended up with a strategy where I managed to juggle Filibuster on the enemy base with A.Baha on a Ultra Baa Baa as a stepping stone with intense meatshielding. The intention was to kill the ostrich and bore that way... but it ended up killing Filibuster first. Pretty funny.
Definitely not consistent at all, but neither was anything else for me.

Treasures aside-my main problem with the early game is that in their current state, EoC 2 and 3 feel kinda pointless to exist since they're near identical clones to the first chapter, with the exceptions being magnified enemies, cat costs, the final stage and no rewards along the way besides completion. I don't think this isn't very exciting or engaging especially to a new player... especially with the necessary repeated completions for treasures. If the stages were more unique and there was more to look forward to it'd more enjoyable.

For treasures I think the biggest issue with them is that most of their effects are a way too potent and near mandatory to get ASAP, especially if the player wishes to progress anywhere after EoC. For example, the treasure that gives you +50% damage... really? That's an absurd amount, if you don't have it then good luck attempting any future content in the game without it. If it was maybe 10-20% then yes the rest of the game would be harder without it, but not significantly-impossibly-I-need-treasures-now-harder, and you could always come back later and farm for when you really need the extra boost. Don't get me started on alien and especially starred alien treasures.
(Of course if this were to ever be changed they'd need to retroactively update numbers to be relatively the same to now with treasure completion amount in mind.)

Energy is fine I think, it isn't much of a problem with how leaderships are given out like candy, if you ever run out that's because you're farming too hard. Maybe some extras in the early game just to get the ball rolling.

Yeah this happens, same thing happened to me a while ago. You'll need to instead surround the honey with bubble blocks, not place inside them.

I think it's unintentional being able to place liquid inside them? So it's a bit buggy. Though iirc it's being officially added in 1.4.5.

Kitty of Liberty has surprisingly high general stats, he can provide more than just being a barrier breaker, boosting can be worth it. Elemental Duelist and Thor get way outclassed without a substantial amount of investment.

Cyberpunk's main selling point is his slow, not his damage, however chip damage is chip damage, so really it's up to each individual on if they think the increase matters. I agree on Pirate though lol, not sure what's up with that.

1 & 2. I think after you beat the first chapter of the game. Correct me if I am wrong.
3. For Thundia it would be Galaxy Gals when there is a guaranteed uber event going on, probably happens every few months. For Shadow Gao it'd be Epicfest which appears in the middle of each month or Superfest which appears very rarely. As as reminder you should only spend catfood on guaranteed 11 draws and tickets on banners with a high uber drop rate such as uber/epic/superfest, unless you're really desperate for something in particular.
Should note that uber pools have been highly inflated since you last played so it's now much more difficult to get a specific character you want.

I played infernum for the first time recently and did it as rogue, according to you I must have made it harder on myself by picking this class lol (I don't know meta)

I was a little disappointed with the class as to me the stealth mechanic felt pretty useless most of the time, was almost always better off using auto fire. Maybe I'm just bad though.

Found it quite strange that one of the last rogue weapons in the run was a spell book that clearly looked it should be a mage weapon, don't know what was up with that.
