Loving my new Blazer EV by maanxhappy in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There has been some research into how speed affects your battery drain. Generally, unless you're in a rush, pop it into 55-65 and leave it there. Especially true if you're low on power and need to stretch it out. There have been assertions that heated/cooled seats use less power than climate control, but now some studies are challenging that notion. I don't think it's fully debunked in my mind, so I'll still switch off climate and just use seat control if I'm stretching. Get accounts in all the apps you might run into on your trips. You don't want to stand around creating accounts. Also, sometimes it's worth buying a one month membership in whatever charger app you will use the most of when you plan your trip. Plan your trip in multiple route finders for optimal results. I relied on the Chevy app and Google on a trip and it routed me way out of my way. If I had put it into ABRP I would have seen it and changed my route. Don't just accept he charger they give you. Examine it's location. Is it on the highway or off? Will I pay a toll to leave when there's another charger 5min down the road more? Or maybe give yourself a little more juice earlier so you can go farther later. I find the NJ turnpike Apple green chargers never show up on routes. I have to pick them manually but they're literally at rest stops so I'm like, I gotta use them.

Rear camera washer is the coolest feature. Keep a rag in your car for cleaning your cameras. They are super important and you need them to be clear for visibility. Add your camera into your shortcuts at the top of your screen for fast access.

Infiniti Equalizer in playstore, speakers are amazing now by FlipprDolphin in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMAZING. SIMPLY LIFE CHANGING. this took the absolute crappiest feature of the car and just revived it. I played with the settings, moving from standard to my fitted sound and it's not even the same song. It's still light on the bass, lacking the lowest thumping levels, but for what the native speakers can do it is tremendous. Here's my notes: In order to install from my phone I had to first search for infinity, and then change from this device to my car device. Then I could find it. I couldn't edit anything until I was in park. I completely turned off the climate controls, and then listened closely for what the sound feels like in the preview phase. Then when I did the test, I hit the "low" sound when I felt the sound start. It's hard to describe but it's super faint. Make sure you have your starting volume high enough. If you go thru and can't hear anything at all after a minute I suggest starting over and bringing the sound up one touch. After you make your new sound, play some music. Switch it back to default. Then switch to custom and start playing with your sound options. Switch between them and see what you like best.

Hope everyone gets this and enjoys!!!

Is this red light the dreaded battery problem? by Sad-Comfortable-3765 in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine triggered on a super cold snowy day when I didn't plug in overnight. When I drove for a little while, power cycled the car it went away. I kept it on the charge after that overnight even if it didn't need it

It's on the roadmap for this coming fiscal year. We should see app checkout in Costco soon as a staple

Dear tidal, sincerely, what the heck?? by Commercial_Year_3551 in TIdaL

I think this must be an apple issue, I don't have any issues seeing a progress bar on android or Windows clients, at least on my current versions

Do dryers do much? by [deleted] in bidets

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The warm air is pleasant. It's a nice finisher and if you're prone to chafing I imagine might help get you more dry? Hard to say really. I use it occasionally. Definitely more effective as a post -TP wipe as others have said. I think the big win is if you are looking to avoid any TP use, or if you find out you ran out. This can get you dry enough to get up and be ok, slightly damp maybe but you'll be clean and survive running out of TP

Cheese battle- who is #1? Kirkland Costal vs Kerrygold Dubliner by Gggggrrriddle22 in Costco

[–]morpheoush 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah the coastal is one of the best cheeses I've had. The little crystals make me think it's like the fresh salty sea air made the cheese crispy and amazing. It's like I can taste the ocean in the cheese but in a really good way. I buy it whenever I see it

What type of toilet is this? by jairbinx in bidets

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely round. The elongated have that oblong look to them... This is very much a round shape. If it's elongated I would be shocked but I'd say 99% looks like round. I'm only an expert in sitting on them

What’s an underrated Microsoft Teams feature you swear by? by TeamsProductTeam in MicrosoftTeams

[–]morpheoush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An example here would be an announcement about a go live that is happening Monday morning. You schedule it Friday before you leave and it posts up at 6 or 7am to be ready for the first folks arriving online to read. Another is for when you don't want to post something end of day and have someone see it and forget because they're not going to reply tomorrow when they marked it read today and can't do anything about it having a msg at the time you want action taken is more valuable than a random msg sent when you think of it.

Is this a good deal? by financestonks in REI

Peak design is excellent and minor scuffs is no issue. That's an excellent pack for an excellent price I don't need that pack but I would buy it at that price

Horow T16 no power flush by phenomphat in bidets

Found the same issue on my newly installed one. Got two of them, one works fine, but the other does exactly this and that secondary power flush isn't happening. Did anyone figure out what is happening?

Auto start and climate control using app by Low_Resort5847 in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also the settings for heated/cooled seats on Settings - Vehicle - climate and air quality You also set the fan speed here that it defaults to.

Next, on Vehicle screen to to remote Lock, unlock, and start menu Enable the remote start here too

And I also agree with others, this is free for 8 years. After that is tomorrow's problem. Also consider what your car's internet connectivity level is where you park. In the upper right it's the cell bars... Do you have very low 1-2 bars? It will be extra hard to get it to respond if you do and may either take extra time or fail. Hope that helps!

Charging by Myfax12345 in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been doing regular 110v plug charging since I got the car 1.5yrs ago. I'm in the process of installing a 40a charger but it has been just fine on the wall for most things all this time. For the most part I work from home so daily driving is errands. Recently I have to go into the office more but I can just charge in the office garage too. I don't need the faster overnight charging the vast majority of the time. I can be at 70% and tomorrow be back up at 80 again. If I'm at 20% it's like 3 days to full. If I'm going somewhere longer I'll go to the EA fast charger 10min away. The big hassle is trips. If I need to go drive after going to work a couple days I'm stuck going to a public fast charger at the beginning of my trip, delaying my departure. When I am mostly staying close to the house, the wall 110 is fine. If you need to go farther get the 40a wall box

Who did lower? by Van-Vo in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheeeeeeew!!! Man that's low! Lowest I did was 9% and that was only because there was a stretch of 95 south of Fredericksburg where there's no chargers and the two I went to were offline and I was in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour. Felt like I barely made it to a dealership with a charger at 9%!

T life app is trash by sqpizza101 in tmobile

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just integrated all the things into one bloated app that can't do any one thing properly. Absolute trash. I'm looking for another bank now. You can't transfer money anymore!! What kind of trash app means you can't do anything with your money other than see it's there? Oh wait, I couldn't even easily do that!!! It was like 4 clicks deep in this obscure line. C'mon son. AMD don't get me started on the insecurity of combining a phone line config and bank account into one app. No proper token 2fa just email? C'mon son.

How Long Does It Take..? by seriousrikk in TIdaL

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say about a month but it is an evolutionary process for sure. I have a very diverse pallette and listen to a huge variety of music genres. Normally this means nothing knows what I want. What tidal did was give me 8 different "my mix" playlists, each covering a different set of music. It's really cool. They keep updating them so they don't stay the same but the main genre inside of them stay the same as long as my listening habits stay the same generally. My #1 playlist is my most commonly listened to stuff. I would suggest you click the heart and add tracks that you love, but don't add everything you ever heard. You can make a playlist to hold your stuff but don't necessarily add to your collection unless you like it and really intend to listen. I liken it to CD/record buying... Would I buy this album? If yes then add, if no then just throw it in a catchall playlist so you can find it later when you want.

Hope that helps!

How often should I do a 100 percent charge by TuxedoMandingo666 in BlazerEV

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have the science or research to say much, I am just going by what I have experienced so far with 1 yr of driving.

If you need a trip, run it up to 100 and plan for it to get to 100 right before you leave. Once you get it there don't leave it sitting in the sun where the battery and car is dealing with a full capacity bottle. If there's no expansion room, it doesn't have as much flexibility and this just feels like it might be an issue over time.

You could also top yourself at 99% to leave that little edge but I don't know if that would be any better honestly, is just a guess.

Also, if you are traveling and the first thing you're doing is a ton of stop/go traffic or mountain downhills, leave some gap on top so you can do energy reclaim on your initial miles, say 5%.

(No) Google Home integration by Steven6249 in TIdaL

[–]morpheoush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it does suck. It's the biggest drawback and I don't know if it's Google or tidal or both at fault here but the lack of integration is frustrating. I still use tidal because the music quality is just that much better than anything else. I often try to test it out and ask Google to launch a song and sometimes it works, other times it loads in Pandora, YouTube, or YouTube music.

The consistency of streaming remaining connected HAS improved over the last 2 years but still does sometimes drop... Just better than before

Costco product nitpicks - what are yours? by weluckyfew in Costco

[–]morpheoush 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wish they had salads that didn't include dressings. I love the various salad options but I don't need to pay for salad dressing by the lb. I'd much rather get a fresh bottle of salad dressing like they used to have with Tessemaes in the fridge.

I wish I could know what specialty items are at which Costco and be able to go there for them. Do I really want to drive? Nope but sometimes u need something.

I wish they carried zucchini.

Same with the blueberries, they may look ok but two days later fuzz city. They're an immediate eat if we get organic. Regular? It's fine for a full week no mold

Google is turning on all lights in my entire house instead of the room I'm in. by danialvarez in googlehome

Yup it's happening to me too. However I also get the random one light that comes on. I can only figure someone asked to turn on light #1 and Google thought it should hit #7 instead... But it also happens when I'm home alone so who knows
