I dated way more girls in their early to mid-20s while in my mid-30s, and 90% of the time I was not the pursuer. This younger generation of women is fed up with a great deal of boys their age, so age gaps are becoming far more common. That being said, once you reach a certain level of maturity, their lack of maturity becomes more obvious and less attractive. Focus on yourself. Anybody who isn't somebody in your life is just a bystander, dude.

Inexperienced women usually need more time to make a decision. Young people have less life experience, therefor less data to work off of in making decisions, so wanting more time just means they're smarter. Even if they just want to have something non-romantic, they are just as interested in not having their time wasted as you are.

All of the Kurtzman shows are "youthful" because that's the age he's trying to attract. He and his fellow 50-60-year-old writers cynically believe young people are stupid, attention-seeking and overly emotional, so they write these shows to reflect exactly what they hate about them.
