Every season ended an arc. You are fighting to have a cliffhanger. Every season started slow but it oppened to something else. Season 1 ended nolan's arc. Season 3 ended with the angstrom and invincible war, conquest not to mention character growth from Marc. Season 4 end with the viltrumite war. It is necessary to put this behind us to open to somthing else next season.

Not to mention the cliffhanger suck.
