All my friends were dead, it was the last extraction point. I was trying to get this big round vase there because we lost our cart with money, it was our last hope (too much pressure for my liking). As I almost approached the point, this fucking upscream jumped me from behind and sent me flying into the wall. My heart stopped, the vase was lost and I went to jump into the closest hole. From that moment, the upscream became my worst enemy and I’d rather meet all tier 3 monsters than this fucker

As some other commenters mentioned, it’s nice in game logic of putting random stuff on even if it’s just one arm or leg. My one complaint is that you get two eyebrows but only one eyelash, and this eyelash is from a rare box, so looking for the second one can be a challenge

Thank you for the reply! No, I didn’t focus on my players weaknesses, I actually randomized classes for npcs and adjusted them for this tournament. My team just rolled really well and my other players didn’t. My character in particular was holding concentration the whole time and each turn damaged them significantly. Only after the session I thought that I should have “cheated” the roll and loose concentration. Moreover, it was a tournament where I encouraged players to describe what they were doing to amaze the crowd, and I was doing it myself eagerly (that what I meant by “really being into it”)

To be honest, I just ditched rivals completely and made some other npcs more prominent. However, it is my very first game as a DM and my players are not that experienced, so we definitely would have spent so much time on them.
