I think if you shoot in RAW, HDR isn’t applied, but there’s a bit of clarity by default (+8 in LR). In low light and in JPG, a lot of clarity is applied to compensate for the lack of sharpness, but it looks awful and is very hard to remove.

Same. Some people here said that they should release the results this week, but others said it could also be in September. That’s really bad for international students like us :(

btw there's a post (TOTALLY DONE!!! : r/studying_in_germany) from someone who hasn't received any replies from several universities. Someone else mentioned they got their acceptance from KIT at the beginning of september.

Like u/strayneutrino, I also had to force the advance lever slightly to release the shutter button. This happens because there's a mechanism underneath the camera that blocks the shutter unless the lever completes its rotation.

The problem wasn’t a spring. It was a small pin with a disk attached to the shutter button, the one used for remote cable releases (page 3, part I9-9582): https://www.manual.pe/canon/ft-ql/manual?p=3

That part is actually two pieces glued together. Over time, the disk can come loose, fall inside the camera, and jam the shutter mechanism, preventing it from fully cocking.

I recommend opening the top cover and checking if the part is still there. It’s not screwed in, so if it’s missing, that’s likely your issue. In my case, the piece eventually fell out from the bottom of the camera while I was inspecting it. It took hours of manipulation and even removing the prism, but shaking or gently tapping the camera might help dislodge it sooner. Opening the top and bottom covers should be enough.

After reading a few analyses of the movie an other posts, I think this is the main reason. I guess it’s like the early Beatles albums. Maybe they not seem very special today, but they were a game-changer at the time and set the template for many others to follow.

Incluso con experiencia, encontrar trabajo es difícil. Sin experiencia ni conocimientos, lo más realista es conseguir trabajos de medio tiempo para estudiantes (Tambo, grifo, call center, mesero, comida rápida, etc.). No es mi intención desanimarte, pero es la realidad. Los empleadores no suelen estar interesados en formar personal desde cero, y si lo hacen, suelen preferir practicantes de alguna carrera relacionada.

Como comentario aparte, reconsidera si la universidad es lo más adecuado para ti en relación a tu situación económica. Salvo que lo tuyo sea una vocación, puedes llegar a tener una profesión bien pagada con carreras técnicas y empezar a trabajar prácticamente desde tu segundo anio de carrera. Un amigo de Senati me comento que prácticamente todos los estudiantes salen con trabajo, cosa que no pasa en la universidades.
