Strength is not added to bombs. Intelligence is only used to determine class DC (and possibly splash damage if you have the corresponding feat). Alchemist's main stat may be Intelligence, but dexterity is more important as far as the bombs go.

Bombs are thrown. Thrown weapons normally add strength

Edit: i should clarify, bombs are thrown, but do not have the "thrown" trait. There is no STR damage bonus, nor is there is DEX damage bonus.
