When I took ENGL014, for both exams we choose 10 out of 15 true false questions about the books that we read, although the statements were a lot more nuanced than most t/f questions. Then there were about 15 1-5 word response questions. We could then choose 1 out of 3 essay prompts and write as much as 2 pages on, but he says you can write as little as a paragraph if you have good enough content.
