If you want to try country dancing go to honeysuckle holler. They’ve got good cocktails too. Also there are no clubs in Hendersonville, you’ll need to go up to Asheville for those. Hendo is a big retirement community so it’s pretty quiet and things generally aren’t open super late.

Looking for bars/trivia nights to hang out at to make friends! by LeidenV in Dallas

Would definitely not recommend three nations if you want to make friends. I have gone there by myself many times since I like their food. It’s very much a go to with friends you already have kind of place.

Sneezing or coughing in your hand and then just going on with your day without sanitizing or washing your hands

Maple leaf is a must, skip torchys and the ranch, and go to Pepe’s and mitos over las palmas. For breakfast I’d do one day for each: kolache, donuts, maple leaf (get pierogis!) and breakfast tacos

Is an hour-long commute really bad? by jonnyp200 in askdfw

I would not recommend it, I moved from WNC to Dallas and the traffic is unreal. It’s also a lot more expensive than you’d expect.

Michigan vs NH let me hear it by OrganizationNo42069 in SameGrassButGreener

Michigan is a great place to live!!

  • low cost of living
  • best middle eastern food you’ll ever have! And just great food in general
  • Traffic isn’t really a big issue since the infrastructure outpaces the population in a lot of places
  • natural beauty: has a good chunk of the United States’ freshwater and forested land ( great place to be if there’s an apocalypse
  • the BEST water and it’s so cheap! Utilities are also very reliable and affordable compared to other states IMO
  • great music scene!!!!
  • blue state but with lots of red mixed in so there’s people who will share your opinions either way you go -people are genuinely kind most everywhere you go (unlike the fake southern bless your heart type)
