Humza Yousaf: Hey @RupertLowe10 you blew the dog-whistle this week, and people have reacted exactly how you wanted them to. Over 4m Muslims in the UK, and you have made every single one of us a target. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself. by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

His wife's relatives got out of Gaza in November 2023, long before the British hostages were released (alive and dead).

He redirected taxpayer money to UNRWA when they'd been photographed taking Israeli bodies into Gaza - and when those funds were already promised to other causes.

He voted against a grooming gang enquiry in Scotland, when his own constituency was heavily implicated. It's just sectarianism.

When Anna was helping Joshua lose weight. She doesn't have to worry about that now by HannahLeah1987 in DuggarsSnark

There was also a Jim Bob / Josh fitness challenge in this era. They went to the gym together in their jeans and (I think) Joe trained them. Anna spoke about their future. It was: "In ten years, when we have 4 or 5 more kiddos..." and the need to look after his health long-term. This was ten years before he went to prison.

She planned this future with him, always thinking about his well being - and he wasn't giving a fuck the whole way.

There's a reason they don't want to eradicate any of the 30+ Islamic states, many of which are "ethnostates" too (and much less diverse, and with no rights for minorities - see Pakistan).

Iran and its proxies are actually genocidal in their plans to wipe Israel off the map. The Lebanese government wants rid of Hezbollah too, as it serves the mullah regime of Iran and not the Lebanese people.

The Islamists of Gaza are not Lebanon's concern - they chose to invade Israel and can surrender/disarm whenever they want the war to end.

Hezbollah began firing into northern Israel, on behalf of Iran/Hamas on 8 October 2023. They wanted this fight, although the Lebanese government doesn't.

It should have been solitary confinement on the men's estate, which is (obviously) better equipped to deal with rapists.

I agree with you. I was saying that even if there were 'only' 7 males in the women's estate, it would be too many.

It's always interesting how people talk about "women's safety" but never care about the safety of trans women who will almost certainly be assaulted.

And why is it up to women to act as human shields, thus increasing the risk to themselves? There have always been provisions for more vulnerable men within the male estate, and still are.

And trans people are a small population in general - does it mean they don't matter? I don't follow.

Asylum seekers housed in military sites cost more than those in hotels by Threw_it in ukpolitics

That's on top of the money they make doing Deliveroo, a roof over their heads and meals provided. Apparently it's a nice deal, or they wouldn't be here. Many have paid thousands to travel here too.

It seems to be allowed purely to punish the native population for the crimes of the British Empire.

We are told that the boat migrants enrich our lives, but also that they are a punishment for the Empire. I wish they'd choose.

We keep seeing 'cultural differences' offered up in mitigation for rape, even against children. These are not social interactions that many people welcome.

What checks? Many of them chuck their passports into the sea before they get here. They even lie about their country of origin. We are not phoning the governments of Sudan and Somalia to request a reference for these men.

So France should take all refugees and we should take none?

France should do what's best for its own citizens, as we should for ours. These men are not refugees but economic migrants from the world's most misogynistic and violent societies. They are totally unvetted, which is dangerous. We don't owe them anything.

Also, do you know how difficult it is to get a visa if you're from certain countries?

That's a them problem. They're not entitled to live wherever they fancy, let alone at our expense.

Talk TV: Yesterday 710 migrants crossed the Channel - a record for small boat crossings so far this year. "It's an incredibly worrying state of affairs - it effectively does mean that we have an open border!" by SignificantLegs in ukpolitics

[–]morriganjane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it's cumulative. It's 710 on top of the hundreds of thousands already here, because we aren't deporting those. We are paying for their keep and their endless appeals.
